    Monster Chevy Truck!!!

2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 Blackout Edition
    4x4 9” lift. 35”x12.5”x22” tires
    1500 miles
A previous client of mine just picked up this lifted truck. Fully loaded, crazy big…had to get out my ladders to work on it!

It came right off the lot and he has only put 1500 +/- miles on it. The condition was horrible. Every panel was swirled, marred, scratched, etc. It was in very poor condition for a brand new vehicle.
Compounded and polished the entire vehicle to include the wheels which were as bad if not worse than the body panels.

    Tools/equipment/chemicals/etc:

Adam’s Polishes Rinseless was for initial prep/cleaning.
    Rupes 21 Mk II
    Rupes iBrid
    Rupes mini
Misc foam cutting and polishing pads.
McKee’s 37 N914 Rinseless for wash and Final wipe down.
    McKee’s 37 Fast Compound-Aggressive Cut.
    McKee’s 37 Fast Polish-Fine Cut.
    Misc MF towels
Griot’s medium prep pad/sponge for claying.
Blackfire AIO tire/trim/rubber for engine bay bits.
    Kenotek Vinyl/Leather for tire dressing.
22ple HPC for LSP. (everything-paint, trim, some glass, wheels)
22ple VS1 and Finitura as topper after coating had cured.
    Infratech IR curing lamps.
    Scangrip LED lighting.
SCG Pro Glass cleaner and sealant.
Ultima Interior Guard Plus for interior leather/plastics.
    Vacuumed via Metro.

Thanks for looking, and as per the norm, all comments/questions/etc are welcome!

    Outstanding Scott, Wow!

Ha, weird that the owner got your garden airbrushed on the tailgate of his truck hehehehe Seriously, check that reflection on this beast! Looks like once the paint is polished properly, it looks super nicely finished. Beautiful turn around for sure, & I'm suer the best its ever looked - owner must've been blown away. An eye opener on how it should look for sure. First class work my friend.

When we came over in 2015 we loved seeing trucks like this, heck, when we were in Stuart we even saw a Police truck that was all jacked up & sporting big rims & tyres! Trucks like this are a little too impractical for our small roads in NZ but there are a few, we just aren't allowed tyres that stick out further than the fenders.

Holy cow Scott! That's seriously some fantastic work man! The black paint looks perfect.

How did you polish the roof on that thing lol! That monster has a lot of real estate - how long did it take you to detail it?
