    2012 Twin turbo V8 M5

Mvasion is this weekend and I got a call to try and fit in a last minute detail. This one already had ceramic pro gold on it, but it had seen better days. Water spots everywhere, swirled all to hell. There was no time to do a multiple step correction and reapply a new coating. So in comes essence plus to try and see what I can do to help remove some of the damage. Sadly it appears the previous installer didn't do much correction prior to applying the coating. So much of it has been trapped underneath it. Unfortunately not much I can do to rectify the situation with less than a 24 hour turn around time.

This was dropped off yesterday afternoon at 4 and had to have it done by noon the next day.

    On to the pics.
    Before

Water spotting, which is fairly typical from a coating that hasn't been taken care of.

Some weird hazing on the coating. Not sure if it's high spots from application.....or what

Start with a good thick foam bath of Reset since the customer was complaining of lack of beading/sheeting.

Beading and sheeting returns. Just another clogged coating

    Who sets a bucket,can,etc down on a 1000hp car

Spotting, haze, etc is pretty bad on this

Swirls are also pretty bad on this thing

    Another really weird hazy spot

    Ring mark is gone

    This stuff is pure magic

    Water spots are now gone

All done and topped with reload

    Time to polish the exhaust
    Before

    After

This car is blasted all over the internet so not too concerned people see the plate.
All done. Perl on the tires, reload on the wheels and barrels

Sorry no sun shots, but to be honest it wouldn't look all that great in the sun either. This one is a 10 footer......at least until it comes back to me for multi stage paint correction and reapplication of a ceramic coating. This is some of the stuff left behind under the coating.....looks like sanding marks....possibly REALLY bad pig tails

    Just brutal

Coating left in the cracks not wiped off.....I hate to bag on other people's work cause I'm sure not perfect. However, this is just sloppy.

Weird haze is gone at least

I'm confident he'll be happy with this and I should see this thing back in for a serious correction and bring this car up to where it should/could be.

Very nice work in such a short time. Too bad the last guy didn't take pride in it as you did.

Well done, and the owner must be happy it looks this good within the time frame before the show! Nice!

Thank you sir! He was blown away. It's coming back to me to get fixed when we can get it scheduled.

Surprised the Essence didn't remove the old coating as it polishes pretty good.

This was essence plus which is meant to heal "old" abused coatings. It doesn't have any cut at all to it.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Looks like you got some good results with Essence Plus. I've only used it once on a semi neglected coating. Your results were better than mine were.

This was my first time using it. I've had it in my arsenal for a while, but haven't needed it..... Until now.

    Mmmmm. Beautiful M specimen.

Nice work clearing up the condition of the vehicle prior to the show. Looks great now.

Will be on the lookout once you get your hands on it to really transform it.
