Re: Living History... Detailing a B-24 and B-25 World War II Bombers.

Props to all who took part in reviving those very cool old warbirds.
Props to the companies whose support provided all the materials to do the job.
Mad Props to the surviving veterans who flew them in combat as well as those who are no longer with us. The smiles on their faces showed they appreciated what you did as well.
As cool as the bombers are,the P-51 in the background of some of those pics is the Baddest plane of that war. Still a timeless plane,100 years from now it will still be cool!

Joe, I've been meaning to comment since you posted. This isn't just a story about detailing a plane, it's the preservation of the legacy of men and woman of WWII. My dad was Army Air Corp in WWII and he passed in 2008. Soon kids will not know anything about the "Greatest Generation" and the sacrifices they made for our country, both during the Great Depression and WWII as I'm sure it's fading fast in school history books.

Thanks for doing this and it's amazing work you and the team did. What an amazing feeling it must have been to be apart of something so great. An achievement of a lifetime.

    Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the kind words. I am just one tiny piece in the big puzzle. Without sponsors such as AutoGeek, Meguiars, Rupes and my clients Ace Clearwater and Lyon Air Museum.... and the voluteer detailers from across ths U.S., this would have not been possible.
