Thanks very much. Learning how to take pics was necessitated by detailing but it has sparked a bit of another hobby for me so I have been trying quite hard to practice it. Really need to upgrade my camera body at some point but am focusing on all the theory first.

Here's a few I snapped early last week (we had a public holiday over here in South Africa so I got up early and went down to the local beach).

Very nice! Interesting to see my wheels on a Golf. Those were stock on S4's from 1999-2001.

Just realized I never replied re: Carchem Revolt.

So I have used the following iron removers

Carpro Iron-X - dries out too quickly IMO and is a tad expensive ove here
Autofinesse Iron Out - as above
Valet Pro Dragon's Breath - pricey over here but works the best out of what I have used. Its much thicker and has a longer dwell time. Its my favorite overall in terms of user experience and effectiveness.
Carchem Revolt - its much cheaper by comparison, tends to foam up a bit more than the others on agitation, doesn't go a dark purple like most of the others but instead more pinkish. Definitely smells a bit better than the others too. Its my go-to because its cost effective, especially on heavily contaminated vehicles like this one.

I never owned a MK3, almost had a VR6 three door but it didn't work out. What a gem. You know, I was thinking as I was reading this post, that I can't recall ever seeing a white MK3 before . . . I like it. I too like the S4 wheels. First class workmanship my friend, & as usual a stella write up, very enjoyable, thanks for sharing.

That photo down at the Beach has that same colour & pitch as the famous break a bit further South of you Lawrence . . . J Bay. One of my Top three breaks on my bucket list.

J-bay is an incredible spot. Went down there with my dad when I was very young (he went on a surfing trip with his mates). The pics I showed above are from a place called Cave Rock which is also a great surfing spot and its literally only a couple of km's from home. Here's a google pic of the spot, and you can see the 'rock pool' which is where I shot the last pic above.
