    A little experiment

Ok, the other day i decided to break out the PC on my BMW 318i since it has been a few months since i buffed out my dads BMW 528i. I wanted to try out some new tips/tricks ive read up from on the forums since then.

    Heres the process:
Meguiar's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner via MF Applicator Pad
Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #3 via PC w/ LC Orange Pad @ speed 5
Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #1 via PC w/ LC White Pad @ speed 5
Meguiar's Show Car Glaze #7 via Terry Cloth Applicator Pad

    Appropriate lighting is always necessary!

Ok, after i applied the glaze i didnt know what wax to use as my LSP. I had both Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax (Liquid) and Meguiar's Gold Class Wax (Liquid). So i decided to tape it off and do a little 50/50 comparison!

waited for it to haze up... now i must test it out with the SWIPE TEST DUN DUN DUN....

Ok it looked like it checked out so i removed the wax with my PC via MF Bonnet @ speed 3 and final wipe with Meguiar's Supreme Shine MF Towels.

    Heres how it turned out

    (sun shots)

And here are some reflection shots i took while in the sun. Which one do yall think has more clarity, depth, reflection, ect...?

    Gold Class

    NXT

This is my first real write-up ive ever done. Hope yall like it!

good work, next time ya gotta take before and after pics of the polishing. Could you tell a real difference between the two waxes in person? Which did you like better?

personally NXT gives you more clarity, and Gold Class gives you a deeper gloss

Those pictures can't be a good parameter because a lot of factors are involved, light, angle, etc. but in my personal experience I like NXT more than GC, I think NXT gives a real wet look and more durability.
