    1963 Citroen 2cv

A pretty nice example of this funky little car. It has a 2 cylinder boxer type engine with a whopping 15 hp! It was restored and while it's a good looker from 8 feet, it needed help. Paint was pretty thin and single stage so I could really only do a limited amount of grinding. Present were a moderate amount of scratches and oxidation, dullness. Also a lot of sanding scratches in the primer/bodywork so I just did what I could. Got the Essence/reload treatment for a nice shine. I know the owner pretty well and knew he wouldn't mind if I took the car for a little "test drive" around the parking lot. As you can probably imagine, speed was not its greatest attribute but it's a FUN little car to drive! Out of this world " funk factor"!1963 Citroen 2cv-image-jpg1963 Citroen 2cv-image-jpg1963 Citroen 2cv-image-jpg

The last 2cvs ever produced were made in my country in the 90's.

It's one of the most iconic cars of the XXth century, with a long and very interesting story (the Wikipedia page is very thorough if anyone is interested).

What a unique a cool car. It looks good.

What amazed me with 2CV was the increadible suspension articulation. Since it was designed originally for areas with rough/unpaved roads it had a huge range of motion. Watching video's of the car is fun when you see how far it can lean over in a turn or hit large bumps without upsetting the ride.

Cool car with a tricky shifter but after its explained to you on how to use it, its pretty easy but rest assured, NO ONE is going to steal it because they'll have NO clue how to move it, LOL!
