Neglected BMW 750Li

This is my first post in the Show N' Shine, so any feedback is welcome.

This car belongs to a friend of mine and when he arrived, I was told the car hasn't been washed in over 6 months due to he and his wife moving recently. My process was as follows:

Wash using 2 bucket method
Rims cleaned using DUB Wheel Cleaner and Speed Master Jr.
Decontaminated using medium clay and autoscrub fine sponge
CarPro Essence for all painted surfaces using white hexlogic pads on PC 7424XP
CarPro PERL for tires and engine covers

Interior was cleaned using CarPro Inside Leather & Interior
Glass cleaned using Stoner Glass Cleaner




Total time spent was around 5 hours. I wasn't looking for 100% correction since this is a daily driver, just wanted to restore some of the gloss into the paint until the next time it gets cleaned.

Never underestimate the power of DUB! I tried that on my old audi and was shocked how good it did in comparison to sonax or other cleaners

I really like the DUB wheel cleaner, I found it local and on sale and decided to give it a try. That with the brush pair really well together. I don't always get the working time out of it that I'd like, but that's due to living in Houston and trying to detail during the summer outside.

Did you apply anything over Essence?

Due to the time constraint I was working with, I didn't put anything over the Essence.

I've had good success with Essence lately and typically don't cover it, for now.
