  4. Re: Slight rust on very bottom of fender. Does this need a repaint? :(

Rust is like cancer. You need to grind away the rust to clean metal, primer and paint.

Re: Microfiber lint on windshield glass?

:iagree:Clarify Glass Cleaner is the bomb, love the banana scent. Their glass towel has replaced all my waffle weave glass towels.
  8. Re: Worst Case scenario for Brake Dust! Need Advice

Meg's WB is a strong chemical, so wear protective gear. If you are going to use MWB try diluting it first. You can always increase the ratio as needed.

You won't find anything stronger for...
  9. Re: Worst Case scenario for Brake Dust! Need Advice

Meg's WB might be to strong for those pitted wheels. If the acid gets under the clear and paint, it may start to delaminate. Iron X might be a safer cleaner.

The biggest and best detailing forum in the USA. They are many to thank for this great forum, but Mike P is the greatest contributor. Hats off to all the AG team.:dblthumb2:

  15. Re: Terry or Microfiber Bonnet for machine wax removal?

Yeah, second that since Mike enlarged the picture.:xyxthumbs:
  16. Re: Terry or Microfiber Bonnet for machine wax removal?

First of all why not remove by hand? Second, if your having difficulty removing, you are using too much. Thin is in when applying waxes/sealants.
  17. Re: Looking for a spray and wipe that works well on ceramic coated dark colored cars

It is primarily marketed as a waterless wash and I use it as such. It does good as a QD.
  18. Re: Looking for a spray and wipe that works well on ceramic coated dark colored cars

I have and it didn't seem to last as long as Dlux. Did it on two different cars. On one I did 3.0 on the front and Dlux on the rear. On the other car I did the opposite and on both cars the Dlux...
  19. Re: Looking for a spray and wipe that works well on ceramic coated dark colored cars

I would use Car Pro's Dlux on the wheels as I feel any coating that is used on paint is just too thin to take the beating that a wheel takes.
  20. Re: Staining on ceramic coated aluminum wheels

Simple Green and polished aluminum wheels don't mix.

    Re: Ceramic Coating Product recommendations

:iagree::xyxthumbs: CQuartz Lite for the DIY being a SiO2 coating is super easy to use and will give you 6-12 months of protection.

Works fantastic on vinyl tonneau covers.
  23. Re: Looking for a spray and wipe that works well on ceramic coated dark colored cars

IIRC the recommended ratio is 1:15 so at 1:10 your on the heavy side. On light colors it won't matter much.
  24. Re: Is Blackfire Pro ceramic Black edition safe on Factory PPF on 2019 Honda HRV

Aren't all PPF's made of some sort of vinyl?

    Re: 303 Graphene

Since SiO2 products have come out, manufactures have posted the amount of SiO2, same should be for the amount of Graphene as competition gets greater.
