  1. Re: Good rule of thumb when using an AIO - stick with foam polishing pads by Mike Phillips

It was most likely the polish, not the pad. Their fine polish does not finish well, unless the paint is hard. Rupes yellow pad will finish better than softer pads, IME.

    Rupes Polishers Help!

Nope, Rupes remapped the brain of the motors. They moved the higher OPMís of the II into the midrange of the III.

Re: McKeey's Plastic Trim Restorer = WETS?

I see WETS and Mckees 37 as a plastic protectant and SEMI trim restorer. You want a real trim restorer, use solution finish.

    Re: Best Sio2 spray ceramic

I use the ones with the tighest beading and best hydrophobic properties. Gyeon Cure is really good, but doesn't last that long. Britemax Remax is the slickest, glossiest, very durable, but doesn't...

Re: Refreshing a roof - help

Rapid Remover is the ticket! Then clay.
  6. Re: Drying aid after applying Hydro Blue Sio2 coating.....

Terrible drying aid, IMO. No slickness at all to prevent towel marring. I do, however, use 914 as a clay lube or waterless wash when marring is not a concern. I like how it leaves nothing behind.

Excellent turnaround!!! What extractor did you wife buy you?

  10. Re: Review: RUPES Mark III BigFoot 21 Polisher by Mike Phillips

Yes, that shows how important rotation is. Rotary is the king of defect removal. Of course there has to be oscillation with a DA, but rotation is more important, IMO.

Re: Polishes With The Easiest Wipe Off

Funny how some of us think so differently. I find Menzerna to be some of the worst to wipe off. Very oily. To each their own. :)

Re: Compound with the most cut

3D ACA 500 is great. FCC, TLC, M110, CutMax are good as well. If you can't get defects out with these compounds, either damp sand or leave them alone. Anything heavier and you're going to remove a...

Re: Polishes With The Easiest Wipe Off

I've tried 99% of above mentioned non-AIO polishes and do not find any of them "easy" to remove(other than the two I listed). When I say easy, I'm referring to the least amount of oily residues left...

Re: Polishes With The Easiest Wipe Off

Pue polishes: Sonax Perfect Finish and Gyeon Polish remove very easy to remove. I haven't come across any others that compare to these two.

AIO: Meg's D166 is the easiest. SUPER easy. Too bad it...
  17. Are blue "light polishing" Lake Country pads okay for Klasse AIO?

You have two colors that hide micro marring big time. Silver being the most. Iíd put some good money you wonít see micro marring, especially using a polishing pad. Do you live in the Los Angeles area...
  18. Re: Are blue "light polishing" Lake Country pads okay for Klasse AIO?

Sometimes, softer pads will leave more micro marring than firmer pads. Test spot.

  24. Car pro Exlir or P&S beadmaker. Is one better than the other?

You canít take everything literally. Bead maker does not give the most prolific beads. No doubt. Considering itís called BEAD MAKER, it should not fall short in that category, which it does. He...
  25. Re: Car pro Exlir or P&S beadmaker. Is one better than the other?

I think Sandro nailed it. Great drying aid or quick detailer. Has excellent ease of use, good lubrication, very slick..............but lacks in paint saturation/richening, hydrophobicity and...
