    Re: Tire/rubber cleaners?

I wonder what the manufacturers of the APCs would say in response to this probably true assessment

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?

I have to be on the lookout for those kinds of snakes here too. I’ll never forget when one got in my house at 2 in the morning.

Re: Anyone still use old school combos?

Hmm. I find wax pretty easy to use. Especially Souveran. It doesn't get any easier than that.

    Re: Wolfgang FUZION Spray wax

The depth lasts two months for me then the car is still shiny but like that of a sealant. I re apply every four months.

Heh heh. That wasn't overkill. It was routine maintenance.

I just hope you don't find Gold Class as disappointing as I did. It's on my don't buy again list.

    Re: So Chemical Guys Eh?

I on the other hand, will not be buying VRP again. It doesn't provide enough shine and even with two coats, is short lived even for a tire product. Much better tire products out there IMO.

Re: What's your MF towel washing routine?

I use Tide with no problems. It cleans the way it's supposed to.

Which paste wax is easiest to remove???

In addition to those, Iit’s a breeze to remove Souveran and Fuzion.
  17. Re: Left wet car in garage after rain, out of town for 17 days

Unless you are dealing with acid rain, I wouldn't worry

Sprinklers can distribute reclaimed water and that can be destructive to paint. I personally avoid sprinklers as much as I can.

    Re: Meguiars Endurance Gel...Miserable Product

I totally agree that it's garbage. It's such a messy product among other things. I ditched it years and years ago and never looked back

Re: Best Brand Top to Bottom

I understand one can buy the Valugard decontamination ABC three separate product system for around $81. I think I'm going to stick with that unless shipping is crazy.

Re: Take a look at this paint.

My '89 Coupe de Ville has cracked paint on the driver's door and AFAIK it's not a repaint. Maybe this is something Cadillac has always experienced sometimes.

Re: Microfibre drying cloths lose their ability?

Hmm. I'm stumped by this because I have the same towel which is about two years old and I have no problems. It still works just fine. I do avoid using drying aids if that could be a factor
