    If you maintain the paint you should not need to compound that often. Possibly just spot compounding. You may want to consider a medium cut polish like Meguiar's M205 or possibly a compounding...

    You have plenty of choices these days for silica type spray sealants like Reload.

    If you want to protect them from pitting/road rash then PPF is your best route.

    A coating is not impact resistant. It will help with UV and last longer than a wax or sealant. I havenít noticed...
