    Re: Best beading product?

Good point. Apex just throws high alkaline APC's at these products so it's definitely not indicative of real world performance. I've gotten different results than Apex has with some products. I...

Re: Best Brand Top to Bottom

That's what I have heard as well. In time I'll likely try them. I'd like to try Bead It Up and their Waterless Wash.

Re: Best Brand Top to Bottom

At this stage of trying different products I think my favorite brands are Gyeon and Meguiar's. Everything I've used from both brands works very well. The only product from Gyeon that was just OK...

    Re: 3D Bead It Up

Was told by 3D an article/review should be up soon on the other site for Bead It Up. They claim it is more hydrophobic than most other Si02 sprays. Time will tell.

    Re: Best beading product?

It would be interesting to see how this stacks up to CanCoat. I'm guessing it would be pretty close. It's a shame this product was poorly marketed or overshadowed by HCW. Probably harder to sell...

    Re: Best beading product?

Good choices. I thought about going with PNS/BSD as well or the HPC/m799. I used HCD by itself and was blown away by how hydrophobic it is. Great stuff and one of the best toppers IMO. HCD...

    Re: Best beading product?

I believe it. I'd add Meguiar's Hybrid Paint Coating to the list as well. They can hang in for up to a year or more if topped with BSD or m799. They are also non si02 products too. Polymer based.

    Re: Best beading product?

I never cared much about beads until maybe the last year or so. Visually it is neat to see, but they do also help with the self-cleaning I've noticed.

    Re: Best beading product?

His videos are very good. HCD/BSD are top notch beaders. I haven't used BSD but I have used HCD.

    Re: Best beading product?

Figured I'd bump this one up rather than start a new post.

PA Cosmic Spritz is apparently the gold standard for beading eh? From the products I've used so far I'd rank them this way: 1....

Re: Best Brand Top to Bottom

I prefer companies that make only a few products, but focus on making them great vs a company that just throws a million products into the market just for $. I respect Optimum in that regard. ...

    Re: Best waterless wash

Anyone have experience with the inventor of the waterless wash, 3D? Does it leave anything behind? Hardly see it mentioned on here as it gets overshadowed by the ONR/Ech/914.

There is a lot of redundancy in this industry aimed at hooking us all. And it seems to be working.

    Re: New Opti-Coat Hyper Seal

I think everything is fine. I can't speak to durability yet. I put a 2nd coat on today. I think a more thorough panel wipe is what made the difference.

The only reason I've avoided a true...
