Re: Review - CarPro Cquartz Lite

This has become my favorite way to dispense the coating. Pull the stopper plug and use a pipette.

  6. Re: How safe long term are ceramic coatings on headlights?

Well coatings don’t prevent scratches but it will protect your lights from UV for a short time before it needs to be reapplied.

By an extra set of PPF and when it’s time to change it then slap...

    Re: Coatings and Sealants question

You have plenty of choices these days for silica type spray sealants like Reload.

If you are looking for a lite version of a coating you have Gyeon CanCoat and Cquartz Lite as options.

    Re: Post Your Unpacking Pictures

First Black Friday order came in last week. The paint coating leaked out of the cap and was all over the box. Adams customer service issued a replacement bottle.

  11. Re: How safe long term are ceramic coatings on headlights?

If you want to protect them from pitting/road rash then PPF is your best route.

A coating is not impact resistant. It will help with UV and last longer than a wax or sealant. I haven’t noticed...
  12. Re: Is Anyone Else Tired of All the Ceramic Pile-Ons?

If you decide to try one try the Mckee’s ceramic wax. It’s pretty nice and looks good.

    Re: Several Detailing Questions :)

Mike gave you come excellent advice.

If you like Meguiar's then pick up some M110 and M210. Toss in M205 as well just in case M210 doesn't have enough correction.

If you want to take the...
  17. Re: Looking for a new APC... Inteior and exterior use

    Re: Pitting in Coating

An abrasive polish will remove about 90% of the coatings whether its consumer or authorized installer. Opti-Coat is no different. Don't want to be a downer but you have impacted the integrity of...
  19. Re: Mckees Tire Coating: Thoughts and compare with Gloss Tire Gel

No it is not. The coating makes it easier to keep the dirt off the surface. I have yet to do the entire prep just for a touch up.

  21. Re: Looking for a new APC... Inteior and exterior use

CarPro Multi X might be an option if you are looking to try something different. Seems to check most of the boxes as an APC. Optimum Power Clean could be another one.
  22. Re: Paint polish options that are safe on ceramic coating

    Re: Onr vs ech2o -methods

    Re: The Rag Company edgeless

Good way to put it. Well I tried it using the minx with a drying aid and it was not the best towel for that. I ended up using for door jambs and the engine bay.
