Re: Is that a Real or Fake Pinnacle website?

I would say a scam car wax site would be an all time low but I shouldn't put anything past scammers. Fortunately, Pinnacle does indeed have its own site

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I have a lot of seaside birds here as well. I just cringe whenever I think I'm going to get bombed. If the Jeep does, I will report back on how the removal went.

I have 476 on my dad's Jeep. I'm not confident it can resist bird bombs though

Re: Best LSP for dusty land

The only time I ever heard of a LSP being marr ing resistant was with applying multiple layers of Klasse SG. Apparently marr ing can occur in the layers of SG but not the paint itself but I have...

Re: Is the absorber bad for paint?

I used it years and years ago and frankly got poor drying performance from it. As I learned more about the causes of marr ing and swirls I realized there's nothing protective about the construction...

    Re: I did a thing

My cars gather dust, well, I do regularly dust them. It's just that it would be weird for my three car garage to have only one car in it if I were to get rid of them. I suppose I could rent the space...

    Re: I did a thing

I have two that do nothing but sit. I even have to get batteries for them but Iím too emotionally invested in them to just get rid of them.

    Re: Meeting Fellow Forum Member

On the extremely rare occasion that I encounter another magnificently detailed car in the real world, I always wonder if itís another geek I just havenít met yet.

Re: Best Carnauba wax for shine/gloss red car !

I just waxed my dad's brand new Jeep with Collinite 476. It ought to last a few months even here in FL. Looks great on maroon.

One alternative is Wolfgang Fuzion hybrid wax. I'm in FL and I use it. Looks almost like Souveran but is more practical.

    Re: Foam pad life expectancy

Store the pads in room temperature. I stored mine in a hot garage and they got totally trashed. That was an expensive lesson. I haven't fully replaced them all yet
