    Re: Inflation! $$

Carrying a house loan at 2% interest is almost free money to invest at a higher return. Most don't invest and waste it on designer clothes, handbags and toys.

    Re: Tire Dressing not drying

I tried the TW Graphene and got a couple weeks of gloss out of it. It's been a couple months and it isn't glossy but the tires still bead in the rain.

    Re: One year ago, today.

I don't know if this will help but I saw a video of a guy who had a near death experience. He said that as he floated above the hospital he could see every one in the hospital. And they were all...

    Re: 3D Graphene Ceramic Coating

There must be different formulations of Teflon. I bought some Tube Lube from a pool store to use on weather seals and it claims to have Teflon in it.

    Re: Rubber door seals?

Dielectric grease or Tube Lube from a pool store. Tube Lube can also be found on ebay.

    Re: Sad Saturday…

I literally can't comprehend how people with kids get through a week. Being single makes a lot of things more manageable. I've had 10 to 1 the amount of people who tell me that I don't realize how...
  7. Re: How are spray and rinse sealants like HydrO2 legal?

Carbon Tet was used in fire extinguishers up until the mid or late 70's.
  8. Re: How are spray and rinse sealants like HydrO2 legal?

I suspect that products sold in the US as spray and rinse are water based and pretty much any wax type product is low VOC.

    Re: Phoenix EOD Hydra

Anyone who is being paid by a manufacturer is to be taken with a bit of skepticism. At least we know that MP and Yvan are paid spokespeople. I've been around long enough to know that people who...

    Re: 2014 Corvette PlatstiDip Project

I'm sure the clear helps. I've never had a chance to use it.

    Re: Inflation! $$

I have read that since the federal reserve was instituted in 1913 inflation is currently at 2000%. Not sure how that figure was calculated. But here's a couple examples. If the fed target inflation...

    Re: Sad Saturday…

Life gets in the way of doing things with friends. You have stuff going on and they have different stuff and kids and sports and so on. Gotta learn to roll with. Don't take a no too personally.
  13. Re: Can any waterless wash concentrate product be used as detailed?

I was under the impression that Carpro ECH20 can be used as a rinseless wash.

    Re: 2014 Corvette PlatstiDip Project

I've used Plastidip on a spoiler and wheels. Worked well for those applications. I wouldn't do an entire car that sits outside 24/7. Eventually dirt will embed into the plastidip. If it's kept inside...

    Re: YOUR MOST TRUSTY BRUSHES?

IMO some of the leather brushes are too big. I found a smaller Kiwi boars hair brush at WalMart in the shoe section.

    Re: 3D Graphene Ceramic Coating

In regards to Mike. I haven't seen any serious red flags over the years. However, I've always approached his posts (Meguiars and AG) from the viewpoint that he was being paid to say something good...

    Re: Phoenix EOD Hydra

I mixed some ECH20 into my Duragloss rinseless as it felt slicker but I wanted some ceramic.

    Re: Detailing Product -inflation-

I'm aware of products that have gone up between 50% to 100% over the last 1.5 years. I know of businesses who haven't been able to source products for the last 1.5 years.

    Re: 3D Graphene Ceramic Coating

And it probably wasn't because it didn't work but more about environmental concerns and patents running out. Same deal with R12 and 134A, replace it with a more expensive, more hazardous, less...

    Re: leather seat cleaning

I'd use a leather cleaner on leather and not an apc unless it was filthy.

    Re: Phoenix EOD Hydra

I'd be shocked if it was better than Duragloss Rinseless on a dollar to dollar basis.
  23. Re: Lightweight Ceramic Coatings VS Real Ceramic Coatings

Sorry but to me that doesn't seem very ethical. I treat my customers as I would a friend.
  24. Re: ONR for interior fabric cleaning (seats, door panels)?

I'd use diluted Woolite for fabric. When I used ONR, I found that with my hard water it left a sticky residue. Different people seem to get different results with ONR. I found Duragloss No Rinse to...
  25. Re: Lightweight Ceramic Coatings VS Real Ceramic Coatings

I hope you tell the customers this in person and not just in the fine print.
