Re: Review: Wolfgang PROFI Ceramic Coating

I immediately throw my towels, used for coatings, into a bucket of water coating towel detergent . This seems to help with preventing them from being tossed out.

Welcome. There are plenty “How to videos” from forum members and Mike Phillips to you up late at night. Enjoy!
  4. Re: Brand New Car, want a ceramic coating on it (I think). Which one?

If you do go with ceramic then upkeep is typically an SiO2 silica spray (WG recommends every 6 month with their spray, I typically do every 3 months depending on driving conditions. )
  5. Re: Brand New Car, want a ceramic coating on it (I think). Which one?

Why not give something like WG ceramic spray coating a try, decent durability and not over the top expensive or Collinite super double coat # 476 (apply every 6 months) or # 845( used this on myF150...

Re: 2019 Mustang GT hand polished

Looks fantastic. Yea, I am also starting to go the ceramic coating way. Just coated my F150 (ruby red) with Wolfgang Profi as I was tired of waxing (even using a DA), but it was a beast to ceramic...
  12. Re: Pulling out at Green Peter Reservoir circa 2001 - 1970 Sanger Drag Boat 1969 Chevy Blazer CST 4x4

Like I said I would have loved at ride in that rocket. I spent 15 years rebuilding boat engines (only outboards though, pistons, rods, etc) . And couldn’t wait to break those new ones in. My boss and...
  13. Re: Pulling out at Green Peter Reservoir circa 2001 - 1970 Sanger Drag Boat 1969 Chevy Blazer CST 4x4

111 mph is Incredibly fast on the water. . I can remember looking down at the floor and watching it flex up n down as I drove while my boss was next to the engine listening for any mis fires. My...
  14. Re: Pulling out at Green Peter Reservoir circa 2001 - 1970 Sanger Drag Boat 1969 Chevy Blazer CST 4x4

Yes, we used to hike up to Surprise Lake in the 1970’ n 80’ all the time ( I think it is called the Surprise LakeLoop. And back then you barely met anyone on the trail
  15. Re: Pulling out at Green Peter Reservoir circa 2001 - 1970 Sanger Drag Boat 1969 Chevy Blazer CST 4x4

Grew up on Greenwood Lake on the NY side (half the lake is in NY n half in NJ).
  16. Re: Pulling out at Green Peter Reservoir circa 2001 - 1970 Sanger Drag Boat 1969 Chevy Blazer CST 4x4

I would have loved a ride in that water rocket. I grew up in New York State n worked at a boat marine in which I started rebuilding boat engines at age 14 ( until I was 28) and couldn’t wait to...

  21. Re: Have a Safe and Fun 2020 July Holiday Weekend!

Mike you and all the Autogeekaroonies enjoy. I will be ceramic coating my wife’s IS350 with AG supplies since we will not be having guests at our house in NE, PA this year due to Covid. At least I...
  22. Re: What is your current favorite waterless wash?

Been using Ech2o for our coated car but will give Wolfgang SI02 WW a try as the F150 is now coated with Wolfgang ceramic Profi
  23. Re: Daily sap on car...the war is on, could use some advice!

My neighbors pine tree hangs over my F150. You will not win the sap battle , get a cover (I even cut off half the branches when they were on vacation)
  24. Re: Which Flex Polisher (Beast or C-Beast) ???

I have the Supra Beast and the CBeast. I am a hobbyist ( take care of 10 cars which includes family) and really liking the CBeast for ease of use and not in a hurry for minor correcting.
