  1. Re: The Worst Faded Trim I've Ever Had! See how it turns out...

Solution Finish followed up with a trim coating would be the best fix for these types of jobs. I love trim restoration jobs :)

Re: Favorite 1-step compound and pad for 2017?

I would have to agree with luvashine, Hyper polish on orange foam makes for a killer 1-step. Essence on MF pads also works quite well for some vehicles also.

Bikes can take quite a bit of time to do them correctly, especially on the bigger bikes. I have done quite a few Harley's and they are typically priced just like a compact car or slightly more in...

Re: Detail Day and BBQ July 1st near Philly

I would really like to make it down for this, but it isn't looking too good for me being able to make it down. I have 2 projects that I need to have done for Sunday and the 370z is only half done...

    Re: Boss MF pad issue

These pads seem to have a very soft foam which do not like much pressure. I use these quite often and they work very well, however you need to adjust your technique. I typically run my MKII 15 @...

Sorry I saw this late, but I was on the show field in the Boss section with my neighbor. I drove his 2012 Boss 302 up for him.

Re: Help with light correcting finish is hazy

I have noticed in many cases that a light cutting pad (orange) will actually finish nicer with a polish than using a polishing pad (white), especially on GM blacks or other softer finishes. I would...

Re: CQuartz Open Container Shelf Life

I usually keep older opened bottle to use on wheels. You don't want to take a chance of it crystallizing and causing scratches on paint, but they work perfectly fine on wheels.

Re: After Cquartz and reload..... Quick detailer

I would simply just wipe it down with ONR (cheap product and works great). Reload can get expensive if used all the time to wipe the car down (which the product is not intended for).

Re: Faded trim, question about ceramic coating

You will want to clean it thoroughly before applying the trim coating. DLUX or Gtechniq C4 will certainly darken the trim and keep it dark for a long time, however it will not be permanent. If your...

    Re: Any CarPro Essence Tips?

Don't prime the pad, and use 4 pea size dots for the first pass. Brush after every pass and use 2 or 3 pea size dots the rest of the time. You should be good to go after that.

    Re: Any CarPro Essence Tips?

I have used Essence on quite a few M3's with no issues. Perhaps your using too much product? You want to use very little product with Essence.
