  2. Re: Griot's Garage PFM Terry Weave Towel, not exactly that soft ?!...

In addition, (and after I was so impressed with the big towel) I ordered two 16x16" for my chrome wheels which were a HUGE pain to dry streak free with other towels.

    Problem solved with the...

  8. Re: Removing Deteriorated Duct Tape from Gelcoat

    Great to hear.

I worked in the marine industry for over 30 years. That is where I started using the 3M GPAC.

Nothing can compare to it IMO. And that also applies to car paint.
  9. Re: Ceramic Coating Experiment! Am I just wasting time and money?

I really liked this thread. I read every word.

    Great experiment and info! :props:

Re: Which polisher for a new guy?

This thread was from May. The G9 wasn't even on the market then.

But, if this thread were new, then you would be right on. :xyxthumbs:

Re: AG microfiber for spray wax decision

You really can't go wrong with anything found in the AG store.

I have this mental picture of you in a basement full of smoking beakers, wearing a lab coat, and shouting "IT'S ALIVE!!!" Rog. ;)

Re: Best way to apply 303 protectant?

Spray it on a MF towel, then spread it around until an even coat is achieved.

Then, turn the MF over and buff it.

    Works for me. :)

Re: AG microfiber for spray wax decision

I love the Chinchilla's for spray wax removal. They are SUPER plush and soft. Great price too.

The Super Plush's are also great, and a bit more "stout" if that makes any sense. I have used these...

Don't forget the Nano-Skin small sponges for tight areas. :)
  18. Re: Griot's Garage PFM Terry Weave Towel, not exactly that soft ?!...

I will say that the PFM towels are not the "softest feeling" towels I have ever touched, but they're not "scratchy" either.

Like mentioned above, I have not had a single issue using them on my...

Re: Can I restore this at home?

Sorry to say, but you have a lost cause there.

Don't waste your $$ on the OCCR. It will do nothing for CC failure that bad.

It's either repaint that car or live with it.

  24. Re: Newb and new enthusiast detailer checking in from Nashville area.

    Welcome to AGO, Mac.

I have a couple of suggestions:

Switch from the Meg's UP to something else. I have found the UP works ok, but it sucks to remove. (GG Correcting Cream removes easily).
