Welcome! Plenty of information and guidance on this site. One suggestion,as mentioned above, is to take a detailing class from Mike P. Nothing beats hands on learning with the tools and “goods”...
  7. Re: Any fancy new LSP's to check out? Still using Poorboys EX & Collinite 845

I still use Colinite products on one vehicle and WGDGS on another. Another vehicle is totally SiO2 wipe on . I like all 3 items (I must say The SiO2 does allow easier removal of bird bombs compared...

    Re: Sealant on power boat.

Very nice! I googled the website of the business that did the paint job (shown above ) but no luck with the link
    Where are they located?
  10. Re: Review: Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant

Been using the Spritz sealant on top of my M4 which has WGDGS on it and love the look. It’s my daily drive until the snow flies.

Re: Winter Storage: Blanket under Car Cover?

Not big on a wet blanket over entire car. What about blanket followed by car cover followed by a waterproof tarp to keep car dry. But you still need to be careful about mold growing on the interior...

Re: Long Term Ceramic Coating Storage?

Air is your enemy {oxygen cause oxidation and degrades things, how ironic). I work on oncology drugs and I overlay the active compound with nitrogen ( in a vial, with the least amount of headspace)...

  15. Re: Searching for the best sealant as stand alone product

My F150 gets similar treatment as mentioned by milesvdustin and lasts through the winter. My wife’s Lexus gets GtechEXO 4.0 and it also makes it through winter. Can’t go wrong with either.

  17. Re: Problem with new Grit Guard Pad Washer - Is it me?

  18. Re: Question regarding Ceramic Pro Coating and other important information

As mentioned above it all depends on driving conditions (Eastern PA). If it’s a bad winter and I see an acceptable window of opportunity in Feb I will put another coat of Collinite 476 or 845 on my...

    Re: Do cordless polisher work?

If you can swing it the purchase of a cordless does come in handy. Flex has the xfe 15-150 orbital that with 2 batteries is plenty of battery time. They also have a PE 150 rotary. I have used both...
