  1. Re: Wheel Stains Options? (2006 Mercedes Sl500)

    I agree with both your ‘etched into’;
    and ‘S.O.L.’ assessments.

    Quite often the guys operating out of
    the wheel repair vans can successfully
    refurbish the wheels.

    Myself? I’d get them...
  2. Re: Are Ceramic-Infused Sealants and Detailing Products Safe to Use?

    I’ve been preaching about the use
    of proper PPE while detailing for a
    very long time now.

    And:
    Being that there are still so many “unknowns”
    out there regarding so-called...

  5. Re: Do Coatings Provide MORE Gloss than Sealants or Waxes?

    Gloss; so you want some real gloss?

    Well I’ve seen ‘Glazes’—(such as: 3M Imperial
    Hand Glaze and Finish Kare 303 Foam Pad
    Glaze, for example)—impart such a bountiful
    amount of gloss to...
  6. Re: Meguiar's D155 Last Touch vs Meguiar's D156 X-Press Spray Wax

    D156:
    A spray “Wax” (Sealant) that is applied to clean
    surfaces; leaves behind some protection—acts
    as a last step product (LSP).

    D155:
    A Detail Spray that’s used the same as are most ...
  7. Re: BMW “Frozen Paint”: Anyone with experience with this type of paint?

    •IMO:

    Auto paints in their OEM Frozen condition
    for as long as possible [or at the very least:
    for the duration of ‘The Paint Warranty’s’

    Re: Pinical or BLACKFIRE

    •IMO:
    -Both products provide outstanding results.
    -Depends on which type of LSP that you’d
    rather be ’left behind’ for paint protection:
    Wax (PSJW); or Sealant (BF AIO).

  12. Re: Customer never used floor mats, do you charge more?

    Let’s suppose the owner had actually
    used the floor mats, (and the driver’s
    floor mat had been especially dirtied);
    and you are tasked for their clean-up?

    :idea:

  13. Re: Looking for: Towels to replace my Eagle Edgeless

    -80/20 (polyester/polyamide);
    -S. Korean sourced, 100% Split Microfiber

    Re: Super Clean on the interior?

    This is a highly alkaline product, with a
    pH of ~13.8 (pH 14 is the top end of the
    pH scale)!

    Diluting it @ 1:10 only reduces the pH level
    to ~12.8—still a rather strong solution for

    Re: Best finishing product for red/maroon
