    Re: Metal polish for Harley

I would be interested in reading your thoughts if you do. There are so many out there now.

Re: Question on Uber RW/WW dilution ratios

I think you are fine with the 1 oz. to 3 gallons of water. The detail and clay lube will intentional be a heavier concentration.

I follow their recommendations and haven't noticed any issues.

Re: Engine bay dressing-- what do you use?

I've used Duragloss 253 with good results on the engine.

  4. Re: Wolfgang Über Rinseless Wash as QD for Coating,

I use it as a QD on coated cars and haven't noticed any issues. I think it's a great versatile product.

  6. Re: Blackfire Pro Detailer's Choice Wheel Seal Review

Am I correct that this isn't really a wheel polish but more final step product? It seems more suited for clearcoated or powder coated rims rather than bare polished aluminum.

Re: Trim Restore on 14 year old Xterra

I've had good luck with McKee's 37 plastic trim restorer on my Xterra. I use it every few months and it holds up pretty well.

  8. Re: Product Review: Wolfgang "UBER" Si02 Waterless wash

Thanks for taking the time to post the review. Another con may be price. It seems kinda expensive given that a WW may need to be used liberally depending on how dirty the panel and at 16 oz., You...
  9. Re: What is your opinion of the P&S Renny Doyle Pearl Car Shampoo?

Thanks for all the replies, I ended up trying Duragloss this time since I could get a bottle for ~$5. I will definitely consider Pearl once I use up all my stock.

  10. What is your opinion of the P&S Renny Doyle Pearl Car Shampoo?

I'm thinking about picking up a gallon with the sale. If you have tried it, what is your opinion of it for a traditional 2 bucket wash as far as suds, cleaning, and lubricity?

    Thanks,

    Rick
  11. Re: Anyone use the Wolfgang Uber ceramic coating

Agree completely, kinda pricey for the results I got.

I didn't think it was bad but I wasn't blown away by it either.

Re: Please Recommend An ONR Substitute

Another vote for Wolfgang Uber Rinseless Wash. Frankly, there are several quality ones so just pick one from a brand you like. A few examples are: Blackfire, Griot's, McKee's, Ultima and Duragloss....

  16. Re: question about hydro blue and ceramic coating (traditional)

Put on a traditional coating first and then use Hydroblue as a maintenance topper every few months.

  17. Re: Differences between Rinseless/Waterless mixed QD and dedicated QD

Any new opinions on dedicated QD products versus WW/RW mixed QD sprays?

I'm using Wolfgang Uber RW as a detail spray and have been very happy with it. You can't beat the value.

    Re: Ferrari Day at Autodermatology

Very nice. With Ferrari tribute cars, are they Ferrari chassis that have been rebodied?

  21. Re: Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

Correct, I'm not comparing to Hydroblue. It would be a replacement for Kenotek when I run out of my current bottle.
  22. Re: Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

I have a ceramic coating that I occasionally hit with Hydroblue. I'm wondering if when I wash I should hit it with BM as a drying aid. I currently use Kenotek. May have to give BM a try after I...
  23. Re: Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

Would you use BM on top of McKee's 37 Hydroblue?

Re: Engine bay dressing-- what do you use?

I just recently used Duragloss 253 after running out of Aerospace 303. So far it looks good and d253 is pretty cheap.

Re: Which MicroFiber Detergent You Use?

I've used micro restore, Griot's and All Free & Clear. They all work pretty well.
