Re: Turtle Wax Seal and Shine

Two layers of TWSS may just be enough
to fill up the paint—low spots; et al.

OK...Even if two layers is enough:
•If what TW says about layering this
product is true, then that shouldn't stop ...

    Re: Cause of water spots

    In a condensed version:
    •It’s just Physics at work.

    In a more wordy version:
    •Water is a liquid.

    •Liquids will evaporate.

•When water, that contains minerals, evaporates
    from surfaces,...

If you have armed yourself with the knowledge
found in the below Mike Phillips articles; along

Re: Wax on top of sealant?

Doesn’t TWSS already contain Carnauba Wax?

    IMO:
A topper application of a different Wax may last
    around 4-6 weeks.

    A cure time?

    •IMO:
-BB, used as a maintenance wash on
Coated wheels, is on the over-kill side
    of the wheel cleaning spectrum.

    -I’d just use a Car-wash Shampoo/Water
    solution—until it will no longer...

    Re: Menzerna Powerlock Prep

    IMO:
-At the very least: a light polishing step
    should follow the Claying step.

-However, if you’re not going to polish after
the Claying step...you may want to re-wash
    the vehicle...that is:...
  16. Re: Topping Klasse Sealant with Collinite 845?

    IMO:
    1.) Collinite #845’s product description
is a little ambiguous when it comes to
determining if it’s a Wax, or a Hybrid
    {a Wax/Sealant combo}. I’ll commit to
    saying it has Sealant-like...

Egad...That’s a new one on me!

    Re: Damaged anodized bronzed wheels

    Sure, take a look.

    liable/responsible for the wheels being
    damaged—brought about by the hand

Even though I’m a huge fan of M07...

For this project’s Car Show objective:

  23. Re: Meguiar's Water Spot Remover Is It Just a Polish/Abrasive (downside it removes sealant?)

    •In my way of thinking:
-If a product is ‘strong enough’ to remove
water-spots, then it’s ‘strong enough’ to
    remove many LSPs.

-As such: I considered it a “Best Practice”
    to re-apply the LSP...

along a few instruments with him the next
time he goes up to that dizzying...
  25. Re: Thoughts and ideas required for upcoming car show

    •IMO...for a situation like this:
-Meguiar’s M205 (what with its Trade Secret
polishing oils) would be an excellent choice
for providing additional gloss to the paint.

    -Afterwards, Meguiar’s...
