    Re: Really Stubborn Bug Guts

Love bugs don't follow the normal rules of bug removal. If you catch them the same day they aren't bad to remove. Wait a few days or longer and they harden like cement. Especially in the high heat...

    Re: Really Stubborn Bug Guts

I got caught with love bugs last fall. Bugs were on the leading edge of the hood, plastic headlights and plastic grill. Tried Citrol 266, Prep-All solvent, Poor Boys bug squash, Tar-x and a bunch of...

  4. Re: FK-1000P/BWM-01 over Klasse sealant, for winter prep

Yes, Ultima spray wax is excellent stuff. I use it frequently. Great beading with good contact angle and decent longevity. It lasts a bit longer than either Sonus Glanz or Sonus Acrylic Spritz.

  5. Re: FK-1000P/BWM-01 over Klasse sealant, for winter prep

If you want the best longevity do a standard decon treatment first before applying any wax or sealant. Start by washing car, do iron treatment then clay bar. I don't think you would apply FK with...

Re: MTM PF22.2 delivering watery foam

Have you checked to make sure the pickup tube isn't kinking when you screw the top on.

On the original PF22 version with the top heavy bottle the pickup tube is a soft clear vinyl tubing and...

Well, I received a notification that my order has been fulfilled along with a tracking number. So calling yesterday yielded results. "The squeaky wheel gets the grease", "ask and ye shall receive"...

    Re: Major letdown

If I don't get a tracking # by Friday I'll cancel and it's over. I'm not following up tomorrow. Customer service should have given me an answer while we were on the phone today instead of passing it...

    Re: Major letdown

Since I opened this can of worms I might as well follow up.

I called customer service and politely asked if they would ship the items that are in stock while I wait for the back ordered item. The...

    Re: Major letdown

LOL, I probably over reacted last night. I'm running low on Reset but I have enough left for a few more washes. The other items were just products I wanted to try. Nothing critical that can't wait a...

Shake your head all you want. I think your blinded by the free product they send you.

It's not good when a company states they have a product in stock and don't, charges your credit card then...

    Re: Major letdown

A quick google search shows that it is actually not illegal for merchants to charge for a product before it has shipped. But imo it's not good business practice unless the item is special order. I...

You would think, right. But as of right now my cc statement shows the full amount as being charged (not a temporary hold for the amount spent) and nothing has been shipped or will be shipped for at...

    1. Autogeek isn't a retail store. Or I should say it wasn't a retail store when I was there twenty years ago buying marine products for a boat that was docked in Hobe Sound. Which is right next door...

    Re: Paint splatter all over

Isopropyl alcohol is the main ingredient in most panel wipes so it would probably work. Due to the sheer amount of paint on the OP's car it would be an expensive proposition to purchase that much...

    Re: Paint splatter all over

Yes, good advice. This is what professional painters clean up latex over spray and splatter with. As mentioned do test spots to make sure it's safe on the different surfaces (grill, trim and paint).
