    Re: So Chemical Guys Eh?

I on the other hand, will not be buying VRP again. It doesn't provide enough shine and even with two coats, is short lived even for a tire product. Much better tire products out there IMO.

Re: What's your MF towel washing routine?

I use Tide with no problems. It cleans the way it's supposed to.

Right now with Tapatalk I see the list of threads but none load. I hope an admin fixes it.

Which paste wax is easiest to remove???

In addition to those, Iit’s a breeze to remove Souveran and Fuzion.
  6. Re: Left wet car in garage after rain, out of town for 17 days

Unless you are dealing with acid rain, I wouldn't worry

Sprinklers can distribute reclaimed water and that can be destructive to paint. I personally avoid sprinklers as much as I can.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

    Re: Meguiars Endurance Gel...Miserable Product

I totally agree that it's garbage. It's such a messy product among other things. I ditched it years and years ago and never looked back

Re: Best Brand Top to Bottom

I understand one can buy the Valugard decontamination ABC three separate product system for around $81. I think I'm going to stick with that unless shipping is crazy.

Nothing but wax here too. My Accord is due for some more and I'm looking forward to it.

Re: Can one PREVENT water spots?

Don't forget acid rain: I've seen it cause disasters in paint :(

Re: Take a look at this paint.

My '89 Coupe de Ville has cracked paint on the driver's door and AFAIK it's not a repaint. Maybe this is something Cadillac has always experienced sometimes.

Re: Microfibre drying cloths lose their ability?

Hmm. I'm stumped by this because I have the same towel which is about two years old and I have no problems. It still works just fine. I do avoid using drying aids if that could be a factor

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I just bought four bottles of LATA. Yes, a great tire cleaner and general cleaner for around the house. Im always reaching for it for that.
  16. Re: Neighbour says HyperWash is killing our grass on the median! I say no! Who's right?!

This is nearly knee high grass that is right up against my property. They do mow it but it seems they "forget" to do the area adjacent to my property often. Some workers over the years have been...
  17. Re: Neighbour says HyperWash is killing our grass on the median! I say no! Who's right?!

I'm worse than a Karen concerning lawn mowing, I'm a Bill. LOL. I don't tolerate lawns/grass not mowed properly or not mowed at all. Ive has issues with the golf course I live on that seem to pop...

Ive had used and new but never leased. One of these days I gotta do that if for no other reason than to see what it's like.

Re: Claybar vs. Iron Remover 50/50 Test

Yeah, this is going to be my go-to. If the auto manufacturers recommend it then that's good enough for me

Too bad it appears involved to get it though.

I just bought a gallon of LATA as I was getting low; just buy 4 bottles from the dollar store. Thanks Ric for reminding me.

Re: What is your swirl mark tolerance level?

I work from home and my cars don't see many miles. They are secure in the garage. That coupled with my crazy wash technique when I do even wash them, I just don't have swirls. My polishers collect...

    Re: best looking coating

That's the main reason why I continue to use wax-sealants. Not a fan of the Saran Wrap look. I much prefer depth.
  25. Re: Putting a drain in an existing garage floor?

My town wouldn't allow it so I have to resort to squeegeeing the soap out.
