    Re: Maintenance wash how-to?

If you want to keep it all GRIOTS, go with their car wash, and follow with their spray on wax used as a drying aid (That is what is it made for). That will maintain your 3-1 product.

Re: My new favorite detailing tool

Gotcha. Nothing wrong with using foam applicators for interior products. I also recall using the yellow foam pads for this in the past. I think the reason I stop using them on the interior, was they...

Re: My new favorite detailing tool

For interiors? I ask because they are made for applying wax and sealants. Maybe the soft side is safe for applying interior products? I use their care pad for plastic on all my interior surfaces.

  8. Re: Daily sap on car...the war is on, could use some advice!

Sadly a battle that can't be won. If your a detailer, first thing you look at is where the area is that parking and washes will be taking place. I cringe every time I look up the street in front of...

Re: what's your weather currently like?

Uptick in temps no doubt. Calling for the 90"s next few days. Have the next 4 off. Much warmer than last summer... Grass needs cut and one morning will be picked to wash/detail.

    Re: Doors edge defects

If you just got it back from paint, I would return it and have them fix it. I would install door edge guards to prevent this in the future.

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?

I like the idea of going battery powered to mow. I have about 1/4 acre to mow. Once the gas powered dies, I may look into one.

Re: Off-label use for Hybrid Solutions Wet Wax

Interesting. Now I have used their 3-1 Detailer to wipe down the truck, and it produces a nice pop. I now use it to wipe out the door jambs after a wash.

Re: Does foaming break down LSP faster?

I use a foam gun every wash. Pair it with the WAX SHOP'S cherry foam soap. The most effective soap I have found for the foam gun. As mentioned above, unless it's a really harsh soap, foaming will not...

Re: What to do for my new car?

If you want to go with the TW Hybrid line, and I use these products all the time now, I would..

    1. Use their P&W to remove any minor defects.
    2. Then apply their spray coating. 1-2 coats.
