Re: What should water beading look like?

You donít need help. This is perfectly normal behavior. Just tell your friends that we at AGO said so.

Re: What should "water beading" look like?

    Don’t worry ‘bout Bob.
Sometimes he comes off as a snob.
    But I think he ain’t,
The man just likes dry paint.

    Re: Anybody heard from SWETM?

So glad you’re back Tony. I don’t know if you can detail much anymore and whether it’s worth it, but we’re always here even when you can’t. Come say hi regardless, all-or-nothing or not.

    Prayers...

Re: What should "water beading" look like?

What time frame was the drying aid application applied?

Regarding beads, how uniform or tight they look also depends on temperature outside, temperature of the rain, severity of the rain, and...

    Re: Griots 3-1 Cermaic wax

Like Coatings=crack, I had only dealt with the original SNS which I recalled didn’t have SiO2. My bad, forgetting that they updated it.

Re: My experience w BF Ceramic Pro Black Edition

This sounds like the experience I have with Mckees Headlight coating now that it’s old. I added some IPA to it and it’s better but still not performing like new. I assume the BF bottle top was...
  8. Re: Now available - Dr. Beasley's Z1 Ceramic AIO Primer

@DrBeasleys, is there a recommended shelf life (Use by date) for Z1?
  9. Re: Now available - Dr. Beasley's Z1 Ceramic AIO Primer

Thanks Mike. Maybe it will get updated, even if I’m the only one that got further confused by it, lol.
  10. Re: Now available - Dr. Beasley's Z1 Ceramic AIO Primer

So what’s with this statement in the product description on AG?

You don’t have to think twice about applying Dr. Beasley’s NSP Z1 on top of other products as it can be layered with waxes, sealants...
  11. Re: Now available - Dr. Beasley's Z1 Ceramic AIO Primer

I think I understand based on the description you pasted that the primer polishes do in fact leave some sort of anchoring point which is similar to Essence. Z1 being a legitimate AIO with...
  12. Re: Now available - Dr. Beasley's Z1 Ceramic AIO Primer

So NSP 45/95/150 are ‘primers’ only in that they leave nothing behind (i.e. polishing oils). So someone could theoretically coat after using any of these since it would be bare paint theoretically? ...
  13. Re: Should I Quick Detail With Mothers Instant Detailer and Then Apply Another Coat of Optimum Wax?

forrest, the QD he is using is fine for PPF, correct?
  14. Re: Should I Quick Detail With Mothers Instant Detailer and Then Apply Another Coat of Optimum Wax?

One other thought to share: as long as a simple product like Mother’s QD doesn’t explicitly state it shouldn’t be used on PPF/wrap, I would hope that it should be pretty safe across the board given...
  15. Re: Should I Quick Detail With Mothers Instant Detailer and Then Apply Another Coat of Optimum Wax?

No, it looks fine to me. I would go for it. It’s some pretty tame QD.
  16. Re: Should I Quick Detail With Mothers Instant Detailer and Then Apply Another Coat of Optimum Wax?

I assume Motherís QD leaves behind some minor polymers for gloss. If OCW is already on the vehicle and doing well then I think Motherís QD would be fine, but try a test spot on a low, rear panel to...
  17. Re: Wolfgang Sealant 3.0 vs Sio2 Sealant vs Uber Ceramic Spray Coating

You can probably go 6 mo the in normal/mild climate between reapplication, but it’s so easy I would do it every few months for max performance, including two coats to begin with.

    I think @DUBLOWS6...

    Re: Coating Boosters

Myself and another member reviewed the PROFI QD when it was provided to us by AG. I didn’t have a slick surface to begin with so didn’t note anything about lack of slickness, but the other member...
  19. Re: Pictures: SONAX PNS + Pinnacle Jeweling Wax - Ford vs Chevy

If PNS works well on the other AIOs, I don’t see why it shouldn’t work on well on 360.

    Re: Ceramic Coating Product recommendations

I’ve been curious about Dr. Beasley’s. The price is right but haven’t looked into any detailed reviews yet (if they exist).

    Re: Griots 3-1 Cermaic wax

I would expect that GG 3-1 has tighter beading on top of a coating, like most coating toppers. Standalone they usually are not as good as coatings. Hopefully on top of coatings they are providing...

    Re: Ceramic Coating Product recommendations

PaulMys, give him a break. It can be frustrating sorting through all the products trying to figure out what’s best... I used to yell until I started buying them all. Now my wife yells.
