Re: This site has ruined me.....

Great weekend. I find myself more critical about paint jobs 90% done. A few days with a block sander wet sanding would pay big dividends

Great results. The owner needs to paint the rotor “hats”.
  4. Re: Need a really good bug melter - ECH2O doesn't touch bugs

I find Black Fire bugblocker is a great base if you don't mind smearing it on the front end before hitting the highway. BF bug remover does a good job after the fact..... just don't let it dry.

    Re: Detailer's Seat

Yes, and safer too with the wider "wheelbase". I take the back off an office chair. Add larger roller blade casters from ebay for easier rolling and not catching in the concrete expansion joints. ...

    Re: Anyone still use 845?

    Perfect for that Pontiac.

I tried to rub off a few water spots on my car with it when applying .... nope. Not an ounce of abrasive in it. I wet my thumb and removed the spot.

    Re: Anyone still use 845?

I’m a late bloomer who bought my first bottle months ago. I can apply it almost as fast as a spray detailer. A little goes a long way.
  12. Poll: Re: Is Griot G9 Vibration too much and cause finger/hand pain?

I had Carpal Tunnel surgery on my right hand, tingling is a past memory.
  13. Re: Oxidized Mercury Outboard Engines - Just the back of the engine

Looks like the hoods of black cars in AZ that are not cared for.
  14. Re: Car Polisher for first timer and is it acceptable?

    Hi Glen,
I love my cordless Griots too. I’d take it on two week business trips, wash/wax the vehicle on the weekend when I was in a warmer climate.

    They have discontinued it.

  17. Re: does anyone keep a jump starter in their vehicle(s)?

  18. Re: does anyone keep a jump starter in their vehicle(s)?

Yes, I carry one. I even used it to jump the mailman’s Jeep when it stalled one day. He was amazed when the little thing started it.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I'm back. The shingles on the house are being replaced so I cannot get close to the house to try a water blast test. I did one dry rub in photo one that removed most of the bugs. The thick one...
