Re: Turtle Wax Ceramic Wet Wax (Mini-Review)

    Nicely done Pat!

I’m a big fan of this product.

Since TW designed this line for detailers, I wonder if they will be selling bulk sizes soon. I’d love to get this by the gallon.

Re: Some thoughts on the Flex PXE (PiXiE)

The 3inch backing plate is black. I have painted a white line on it so I can see pad rotation when using the 12mm attachment.

Re: Some thoughts on the Flex PXE (PiXiE)

Hey Mike... to add to your comments.

3M makes 1.25 inch sanding disc (I also believe they make a 1 3/8 inch disc)that fit and attach perfectly to the sticky backing plate. I get them locally from...

Some thoughts on the Flex PXE (PiXiE)

So I have had this about a month and wanted to share some quick thoughts.

So lets get the most popular question out of the way: Battery Life! Kit comes with two batteries. To date I HAVE NOT...

    Re: Coating Maintenance

Wash it with Wolfgang Coating Wash and you will be fine. Pricy but really good product. It will restore any hydrophobic and slickness losses.

Re: Best wash soap for harder water?

Best advice I have is use a quality shampoo of your liking and add an ounce or two of Optimun no rinse to your wash bucket. That will counter any hard water issues.
  13. Re: Sealing/waxing chrome wheels... Is this even a good idea?

I have a local shop that does chrome plating and the following is his advice for years.

Use a cleaner wax with light or no abrasives on it 4 times a year.

Use a pure Carnauba after the cleaner...

    Poll: Re: Best Rotary

You speak of the Metabo I believe. Nice machine for sure.

I can’t wait to try a LC. It’s bulky looks have me concerned but we will see when it comes out.

    Re: Maxshine M15 Polisher?

Im gonna be the odd ball here. I tried most 15mm throw machines out there. I ended up with the Flex XFE 15. I chose it for overall smoothness, quietness and light weight. That being said, I only...

    Re: Waxing Black Car

    What wax did you use?

Most over the counter waxes are actually cleaner waxes often called All in Ones(AIO). The cleaning agents usually dry white on these type of products. Hence your issue.

Re: Compound to use once a year by hand

Working by hand is rather labor intensive. I’d suggest a machine. That being said, Meguiars Ultimate compound works great by hand. Try a foam applicator and if that doesn’t give the desired results...

Re: Struggling to bring in business

    First sorry about your daughter.

  24. Re: Is Anyone Else Tired of All the Ceramic Pile-Ons?
