Re: New Wolfgang Ceramics vs DPGS hood test!

Just an FYI: WG CSC made it alive through claying (BF Clay mitt) using Pure Rinseless as the lubricant, and through Mckees Prep Wash. It was hurting, but definitely alive to some degree, I’ll guess...
  2. Re: New Mystery Product Testing - Review on Monday June 8th 2020 - HAMMERED 1937 Ford Roadster Streetrod

My guess: it’s a ceramic AIO. Which would be exciting because not too many exist, and none from PBMG (BF coating primer with no abrasives is the closest).

    Re: windshield coating

Thanks, I won’t spend my time and effort trying to ‘correct’ my windshield then. I’ve got enough impossible tasks to go around.

    Re: windshield coating

Are you saying that it’s very hard to remove wiper scratches from windshields? I never had luck but never gave it 100% effort. Was wondering if I should try now as I’m about to re-apply PBL Glass...

Can’t wait to see the mystery product and what it does to this Cinderella. I have my own secret guess what it might be.

Re: New Wolfgang Ceramics vs DPGS hood test!

    Final Update 6/4/20:
Hood: Both WG SiO2 products are still present. More or less equal to each other except I still like the sealant’s beads slightly more.

    Roof: Cancoat still in great...

Is it thin like microfiber cleaner or thin like UWW+?
  11. Re: DP Polish and Seal VS McKee’s37 360 mini test.

    Nice, thanks for the updates.

Good luck on the move (one of those terrible experiences in life IMO). You moving for work? Weather? Family?

Re: Product Review: Wolfgang Si02 Paint Sealant

You can, it should work fine, but it’s likely not recommended because it will mask the ceramic traits of the sealant. But if you want the carnauba for looks, it’ll lay on top just fine I think.

    Re: Zaino

Did Zaino ever last as long 105+601? Protect as well?

I’ve never used Zaino but I recall hearing it lacked in either protection, durability, or both... something I don’t believe 105+601 falls...

Re: This is why I'm a fan of CanCoat

I’ve had it on our Q5 since Christmas 2019 and at this point I wish it would die because I hate stripping an LSP with plenty life in it, but this is my season for correction.

    It’s a good problem...

If it’s Polish Angel High Gloss, you just accidentally found purple gold.

    @Eldorado2k:
The pictures you show above where you call 360 dead, those are after Hyperwash, on ‘shower’ setting on Saturday 5/30.

The video is that same night (5/30) after some pollen...
  17. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Waterless Wash and Protect

Hopefully I’m overreacting too soon here, but I doubt it:
You just led me to realize this may not be SiO2 based protection (based on re-reading the descriptions, there’s no mention). I had bought a...
  18. Re: New, frustrated and determined (lots of questions)?

@Eldorado2k, insane leather results you posted above.

To OP, I to use D101 for dirty jobs. Solid stuff, great price. And it’s not just death chemicals in a bottle like some cheaper stuff you...

Re: Product Review: Wolfgang Si02 Paint Sealant

What are your drawbacks with 845? WG SiO2 seems to provide good protection but it’s a short sample time and smaller sample size (partial panels) for me so far. So it’s hard to say, but it has nice...

    Re: McKee's 360

Here is a video from today showing my hose ‘flat’ spray setting. It’s less flooding and more of a touchless car wash style spray.

And for whatever it’s worth, Cancoat beads great but the beads...
