    Re: Stainless Steel Refridgerator

I just used Optimum Hyper Seal on mine. Looks great, but still too soon to tell how it helps. I doubt it will do much to prevent fingerprints, but I bet it makes wiping them off easier.

    Re: Portable Air compressor

I just purchased a Makita MAC5200. Haven't used it in the garage yet, as I have it set up in the house while I install baseboard. But so far, I love this thing! IT has enough CFM to run Tornador...

Re: Microfiber Hot Wash Ok / Safe ???

I wash with hot water as well, with no issues.

I accidently dried on hot once, and didn't see a problem with that, either, but I don't think it's wise to do that on a regular basis. But hot water...

    Re: Exterior Plastics Detailer/Protection

I have no comparison. When I started, I picked a brand, and based off of one product, I chose McKee's. That is my starting point for any product I need. A few things in their line have been OK, but I...

    Re: Exterior Plastics Detailer/Protection

I second McKee's Trim Restorer. I applied it on my car late last fall (seems like it may have been Thanksgiving, but I don't know that for certain). I was doing a rinseless on my car last night, and...

Re: Is this a clear coat failure?

I also was going to suggest Optimum Clear Coat Restorer. I've not used it myself, but the videos I have seen look good. However, I think I have it right when I say that even Optimum does not believe...

That is my favorite sedan. Love how that car looks!

Re: Meguire's or McKee's for LSP?

I just did a pearl white Volvo yesterday with McKee's High Def Paint Sealant, and it looked spectacular. Recommend highly.

I am part of a Facebook Detailers group that attempts to do the same thing as this group here.

Discounting that many of the product suggestions that are mentioned there are not sold here, as much...

Re: Waterless washing in garage messes

Mike Phillips has a video here at Autogeek that shows how to do a wash like this safely (without inducing swirls). Effectively, folds a microfiber in quarters, and holds the front of a towel and...
  11. Re: Roadshow Detailing Class in Powell, Ohio - September 14th & 15th

I'm trying to gather the funds to attend this class. When I saw there would be one in Ohio, I've been aimed at going ever since.

But until the funds are definitely available, I just can't commit....

Re: Is there a Bubba Proof Compound and Polish?

I had quite a bit of luck using D300 with a fine cut Microfiber pad. Finished out very well on softer paint. Assuming your friend's Audi paint is a bit harder, you might try D300 and a medium cut...

Re: Any baseball fans on AGO?

I'm from near Cleveland, so I have a few observations:

    1) It WAS a huge 4 days financially for Cleveland. In addition to the dollars brought in by spectators and others, MLB left about $5 million...

Re: How to Handle This Bird Bomb

    Bill,

A coworker had a turkey vulture hit his windshield square on going about 45 MPH, with a newer (2016?) Silverado. Bird hit only the windshield. In addition to the windshield, the roof needed...

How to Handle This Bird Bomb

    I also used some 3M...

  25. Re: What are you getting with the current 25% sale?
