  1. Re: How to tell if ceramic coating is failing (regular toppers)

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Enjoy the weekly maintenance regiment with the occasional chemical decontamination.

You will know when it’s time to polish and re-coat as you will get those...

    Re: Drying Towel Scratches

This is one of the risks of washing after correction with the potential to marr the paint. I doubt it is the towels as I have used those Guzzlers in the past without any issues. Unless there was...

  5. Re: Leather care - conditioner, sealant, coating or water?

Colourlock is good stuff. Their basic recommendation is leather 3 years or older go with their protector. Can be topped with shield the following day to add abrasion resistance and dye transfer...
  6. Re: Meg's D120 Finally Running Out....What To Choose For My Next Glass Cleaner?

Get yourself some McKee’s 37 20/20 cockpit glass cleaner to polish the inside of the glass. Adams brilliant glaze is another thing that works good on front glass.
  7. Re: Meg's D120 Finally Running Out....What To Choose For My Next Glass Cleaner?

You will enjoy it. It is good.
  8. Glossiest ceramic coating for interior plastic

These leather coatings I linked in the reviews offer UV protection if UV is a concern. A majority of modern day glass blocks out UV. If you like to use 303 or an interior detailer then keep using...

  10. Re: Glossiest ceramic coating for interior plastic

I had my entire dash coated at one point and it held up really well. It didn’t attract dust.

If you top it you will be back where you started with dusting. My advice would be to just wipe it...
  11. Re: Glossiest ceramic coating for interior plastic

None are going to give gloss. Interior coating will darken at best.

Here are a couple photos of me testing a few on my dash. Cquartz 2.0 looks even better than the previous version.

Re: Anyone use Car Pro Lift?

I have used it. It works ok. I personally don’t have a need for it but it seems to work fine.

Don’t expect the pH to be high on it. It also won’t damage a coating at the pH level I measured at...

    Re: Fender flares restoration question

This over solution finish looks really good. Looks even darker when topped with PBL trim restorer.

    Re: CanCoat Questions

I have tossed my applicators when using CanCoat. They have all become crunchy. I have also relegated all coating towels to dirty jobs after a pre-soak in the bucket with some microfiber detergent. ...

    CarPro Lite

EcH20 is used by many as a drying aid at that ratio. Reload and Elixir are changing the properties as well as they leave protection behind.

EcH20 is already diluted at such a low concentration...

Re: Pinnacle Black Label Tire Clear Coat Review

Looks good. Next time you use those tuf shine applicators, massage the product into the applicator to prime them. Makes them easier to work with and they apply coating evenly as they are less stiff.

    Re: CarPro Lite

It does not take much to remove a coating. A medium cut polish will be fine. If you are removing defects then you more than likely removed the coating. Especially an aged coating. You could...
