Re: Exhaust smoke cause stain on bike rack

My "go to" product and starting point for something like this is usually an All In One product on an old towel.

Re: Makita PO5000C no longer for sale?

I loved the 2 knob simplicity of the CG. I did want to get the anniversary CG with the master volume 3rd knob, pretty rare though.

very cool bit of sound engineering info. My ear can...

Re: Makita PO5000C no longer for sale?

I have a love-hate relationship with LPs. I've had numerous R9s, an R8 Plaintop and 2 R0s. They look so nice and sound great but they're sooo uncomfortable and heavy. I also had a 10+ pound R7...

Let's talk, Paul. That's my Marshall Slash SL5 combo in the pic........another collector's item, like the Makita. Ha! I'm currently playing a Taos Turquoise Eric Johnson Strat and a Roasted Ash...
  5. Re: LSN Autodetail: 2019 Ford Mustang GT/California Special - New Vehicle Prep

Paul, looks awesome, real head turner for sure!! From the write-up, it looks like you went right from the BOSS fast correcting cream and Pinnacle Advanced compound, straight to the CQUK? That's...
  6. Re: Does anyone routinely do underbody wash/detail?

Great question. I have never detailed underneath a car. The best I've done was to reach down and hand spray under the rockers. I wouldn't be opposed to it, but I don't have the equipment or a...

Re: Recommend me a POWERFUL 3" polisher

I have the Rupes 3", the FLEX 3" and I also converted a Harbor Freight into a 3" with the heavy Griot's 3" backing plate. They all work well, just depends on how much money you'd like to spend.
  8. Re: Should you polish a new Stainless Steel Muffler ?

I would put something on it. Probably doesn't matter much. What I would do is repack the muffler bearings with high temp grease.

    Re: New Buffer Question

Stan, maybe apply the Wolfgang first because it will be more durable. Use the liquid Souveran as the sacrificial barrier.

    Re: New Buffer Question

Hey Stan, congrats on the purchase! First suggestion would be to do a test spot to see if the results are what you desire. The only time I would finish the entire car is if I was using an...

Re: help, do I need a mini DA really?%%%%

To me, the Griot's feels very nice and I like the extra rubber areas for grip. Psychologically, I feel like the Rupes is a better tool......I'm not saying it is though. I do run both with a washer...
  19. Re: Any recommendations on applying M37 paint coating V2?

I have a bottle from when it first came out. Just the other day I went to use it for the first time and it was all goopy and gelled up. I did a search and realized I waited too long. My advice is...

Re: help, do I need a mini DA really?%%%%

I always like to try different detailing related stuff out. I HAD one (Adam's SK mini). The front grip protruded way too much and you couldn't get into tight spots. I still have these 3 though. ...
