  1. Re: Review: BLACKFIRE HydroSeal RTU - Ready to Use

So after spraying a panel you don't dry it obviously? Do you just keep the car wet until the whole process is complete then dry as usual?
  2. Re: Review: BLACKFIRE HydroSeal RTU - Ready to Use

Use the stuff. Don't blame autogeek for your buying choices. They supply to a lot of professional detailers that use this stuff in bulk quantities. I don't know why you feel you "have to" buy...
  3. Re: Review: BLACKFIRE HydroSeal RTU - Ready to Use

I like the cart but are we not doing the 2 bucket wash thing anymore? I thought that was essential?

    Re: Gyeon quick detailer

The gyeon towel is def advertised in a lot of places as 80/20. Do you know what it says on the package? I'm not cheap but I can't bring myself to pay 7-8$ for 1 little towel. I know the economy is...

    Re: Gyeon quick detailer

You're totally write it says 80/20 on the package. I haven't heard back from customer service. I thought I was right because I have a lot of 70/30 towels and I have a lot of 2face no lint towels. I...

That new pinnacle souveran jewling wax is pretty damn good and supposedly it has decent correction power on a polishing pad. I will try to post pics of my car after using it for you later. It works...

    Re: Gyeon quick detailer

No that's totally wrong! Carpro 2face is 100% a 70/30 blend. Idk where you got that information from but it's certainly wrong sorry.

Anyway the blend on the gyeon towel was listed on this site...

    Re: Fastest working polish?

If you want to just do a quick go over a cleaner wax is your best bet. You can apply to the whole car then buff off as opposed to a typical polish that needs to be buffed off after every individual...

    Re: Fastest working polish?

Lmaoo if we all had that attitude we wouldn't have a forum... I'm just kidding but I def have the opposite attitude. I think even if I had an 87 nissian sentra with only one good panel I'd still be...

Took the seats right out huh? How's the outside look?
  12. Re: Does all waterless wash act as clay lube? Specifically Pinnacle one

I think yes it's definitely enough lubrication wise but typically you don't want to be adding any carnauba to the claying process

    Re: Wash between layer?

No definitely not as long as a lot of dust hasn't accumulated on the paint.

If its outside for 12 hours and gets a lot of pollen and dust on it you can do a light waterless wash (wipe down) or...

    Re: 6in Orbital to 15mm

Ok but if you have a long throw machine it is either stalling or the pad is not in full contact on the contour. It may not be an issue for a lot of people but the bottom line is that it's happening....

    Re: 6in Orbital to 15mm

It doesn't matter it's simple physics. If you have a machine that has to be flat to rotate the pad then you are not getting good contact on the contour of a car. You're now only polishing a tiny area...
  16. Re: Tint safe glass cleaner.... Suggestions that can be had locally?

Yeah you gotta go to the dollar store to get the good stuff. The ammonia might not be tint safe but it cuts through smokers film and other grime like a hot knife through butter on regular glass.

    Re: Gyeon quick detailer

They're nice. The 70/30 blend is a lot better quality then the 80/20 with all microfiber. It actually is a noticeably big difference. I don't understand their reasoning for going 80/20. Especially at...

Go for it, how bad could it be? Gyeon makes good stuff.

The only thing that turned me off on them is that they made their microfiber towel an 80/20 blend. That makes me think they did it to cheap...
