  1. Re: Thoughts on ShineMate EX620 Long throw polisher

Love my cordless Flex CBeast and Pixie. Less so on the Flex Cordless Finisher as it stalls quite a bit on body lines. Love not having to deal with a cord.

Re: Ibrid or PiXiE? I know itís been asked

I have a Pixie as well and like it but I’ve never used an iBrid Nano to compare. The only attachments I miss that the iBrid has are the brushes. The Pixie has plenty of power to spin 3.5” pads.

Re: CarPro Reset or Megs HyperWash?

I liked this 100 times in my head but the button would only allow one upvote. In general I’m a CarPro fan but by product, not by the entire overpriced (generally) line.

Re: Large Scale Detailing on Farm Equipment

I have not but I see no reason why it wouldn't work with 3D Speed. I have used the Rupes Yellow Foam Pads and the Rupes Yellow Wool Pads and like both but I like the wool pads better because they...

What about Rupes yellow foam pads with a compressor to blow the pads regularly so that the fibers? I think these would work fast and give you a very good surface. On a car where youíre worried...

Re: The Season of Discontent is upon us...

Many years ago I ran some summer ultra high performance on my daily driver and I was in Sam’s Club in Nashville, TN when I came out to a parking lot covered in snow. I was sliding all over the place...

    Re: SEMA 2021/2022 New Products

The thing that stuck out to me most was some of the CarPro options such as Spotless, at least in regards to new products. But the thing that really stuck out to me, especially seeing Gyeon come out...

Re: The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Haha. No wrong way. But I also didn’t notice the date initially. I thought today was your actual retirement day, not just the annual date of your retirement.

    Re: PRICE DIFFERENCE

I like the Detail Guardz pad washer a little better than the bucket ones. I have one of the DH for washing and rinsing but they are also different types for slightly different uses (on machine vs...

Re: Microfiber pads - your experience?

I haven’t used the Rupes yellow wool, only the blue wool so I’ll have to pick up some of those. Thanks guys. Or should I say, thanks guys, something else to purchase dammit. :). But regarding the...

Re: Microfiber pads - your experience?

I can't answer your exact question but I can give you a corollary.

I have used the Uro Tec coarse blue pads as well as the Rupes coarse blue wool pads. The Rupes actually has as much or more...

Re: Coating a White BMW X3 with Carpro SiC

CarPro SiC is not a replacement for UK 3.0, it is complimentary. It is actually a replacement for TiO2. SiC contains Silicon Carbide and is meant to have greater chemical resistance and should...

I agree. Hope they get better soon. Worst thing for a parent is for your kids to be sick and really nothing can be done. Wish you all the best.

Re: Griots 3 in 1 ceramic wax after polish

I’m with Bosko. Shouldn’t need fillers on a new vehicle though we have seen some doozies of paint finishes on NEW vehicles.

You could also try to stop them from detailing your truck but they...

Re: Carpro Clarify - initial review

I still feel bad ass with my Flex polishers as I have tools that are better than my capabilities. :)
  19. Re: Finally investing in my own polishing equipment.

I don’t use it but if you’re thinking an AIO, 3D is probably the most popular. So if you asked me for one AIO, it would be 3D, I think I either Speed (protection) or One.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

You need denatured alcohol for a prep spray, not sure what you have in the jar will work or be cost effective. :). Actually, scratch that, it probably would work really well.
