    Re: Hang in there Ronkh!

I met Ron at DF 2016. What an awesome guy. He bought a group of us dinner and was great to talk with. He always had great photos of his and other cool cars at the car shows. I especially liked his...
  2. Re: Quick, time saving engine dressing tip

I probably read one of Mikeís threads on engine detailing and the drying tip was just sitting there waiting to be used. Hyper dressing is very nice. I also like Carproís PERL. Hyper dressing is...
  3. Quick, time saving engine dressing tip

    Re: Wish me luck...

That damage looks very scary and you must feel fortunate to have survived. Rest and recover, keep us posted on your progress.

What speed do they estimate you were hit at?

Re: Ď95 Dodge Viper Kiwi Style.

Probably one of the coolest cars to come out of America from the 90ís. I donít think Iíve seen that color before. Bet Dodge had very low production with that paint. I never see 90ís, 2000ís, or...

    Re: 2007 Lotus Exige S

Talk about different ends of the detailing spectrum. After reading Aaryn’s thread on the VW detail, Scott has a six figure track “toy” in his office.

Cool car, crazy amounts of carbon fiber, and...

    Re: Production Detailing Kiwi Style.

The only thing better than the detailing on the VW is the photos and documentation. Get that customer on a maintenance detail regimen. In all honesty Iíd rather look at real cars get detailed due...

    Not drying the car!

Whatís worse, drying with a crusty old bath towel that has been sitting in the garage for years, or not drying at all?

Never tried ONR, but Meguiar’s discontinued D114 was an eye opener for me for all the same reasons you listed.

Re: What is a good product to fill swirls?

I like HD Speed’s cleaning, light polishing and possible filling ability when used by hand. I used microfiber applicators.

Any good carnauba wax or sealant should help hide swirls to some extent....
  25. Re: New car - interior protectant (like a ceramic?)

Quik interior detailer keeps the interior looking factory new. D149 is one of my favorite products from Meguiarís.
