Re: Dealers “man with a towel” got me!

Funny thing is, people are just thrilled when they see the shiny paint, clean glass, and hi-gloss tire slop.

    They have no clue.

But yeah, I cringe and shake my head when I see what I saw...

Re: American detailer garage (New line)

After reading Billy's post, I have a whole new outlook about trying them sooner rather than later (or never).

I am still up to my ears in products, but will now consider ADG if I run low on a...

Re: Dealers “man with a towel” got me!

Things I saw today at work from the "detail crew":

Taking an old, dirty brush out of a bucket of wash that was used several times and black with dirt, and slapping it on the black paint of a brand...

    Re: Pepboys 40% off

Kind of an apples & oranges comparison.

The OP was just asking about a local store liquidating an extremely limited line of detailing products. Not much of a "competitor" to Autogeek.

    That...

Re: American detailer garage (New line)

Another "line" in an already flooded market.

The only way I'm trying anything other than my tried & true favorites is when 10 guys I really trust start raving about something and posting the...

    Re: Pepboys 40% off

Like Chris mentioned, any Meg's stuff.

Also, if the prices are 40% off, pick up any microfiber towels/wash mitts they have.

Even if they are not of the greatest quality/brand, you can gain...

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?

Pretty close? I'm right on the money.:laughing:

J/K. It seems to be closest I can come up with so many variables. (OHV's vs flat head, carbs vs. EFI, etc....)

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?

I loved when yard machines were rated in HP instead of CC's.

Unfortunately, some manufacturers started "fudging" the HP ratings which prompted the change.

No true conversion from HP to CC's,...

Re: Just Received My GG G9

I am the same way. I only use my GG6 twice a year, and that is for my own truck and wife's Jeep which are both babied.

The GG6 makes quick work of them, so I can't justify the extra cost.

    I...

Re: Crazy kids toys you see out and about.

When I was a kid, toys had no warnings, some were made from metal with some edges that were not exactly sharp, but could do some damage in the right conditions, and also had very small parts.
