Re: 3D Bead It Up - Product Description

Good question, I'm not sure. The product description is recent that I do know because a month or so ago I was browsing their site.

Re: 3D Bead It Up - Product Description

I haven't found enough "good" reviews of this product yet. I'm always skeptical too with many of the comments. "This stuff sucks it streaked!" only to find out it was applied on a warm panel in the...

LOL! I'm trying to be good and stick with what I have for now but at some point definitely. Probably not until Spring though. :xyxthumbs:

CSS is a nice product. I really liked it. Great drying aid for 3 in 1.

Re: Where do you store your stuff?

Nice! Some of you have killer setups. My last house had a much nicer garage but my current one is old and needs work.

Where do you store your stuff?

I’m just a weekend warrior/nonprofessional detailer. My latest obsession has been storage.

I have kept things in the garage in the past when I really didn't give a damn about detailing, but no...

Re: The Season of Discontent is upon us...

Same I find myself doing the interior more often lol.

If/when we catch a 55F day I’ll do a wash. This Thursday is a possibility.

Re: What do ya'll like for windshield protectant?

I've never used a dedicated glass sealant. I usually use whatever sealant I'm using as my LSP.

Re: Silica Spray Sealants - pros and cons

For some reason, I never once had an issue with streaking when using Wet Coat. And at times I sprayed it quite liberally, far beyond the 2 sprays per panel they suggest. I always did it in the...

Silica Spray Sealants - pros and cons

I noticed not many on here like the silica spray sealants (Wet Coat/Hydro etc.). Is there anyone on here that has used one and never looked back? I did notice that washing really hits these...

Re: CarPro Reset or Megs HyperWash?

Must be some interesting chemistry to have that level of cleaning power but with a neutral pH. Optimum Power Clean is sort of like that, but not quite as the pH is around 10, which is still a lot...

    Re: Interior cleaner protectant

As good as the Gyeon Interior Detailer is, it's not much if at all better than Megs Quik. Both are alcohol based, flash quick and leave zero behind. Better value with Megs by far over the Gyeon.

Re: CarPro Reset or Megs HyperWash?

Reset and HyperWash are the two best soaps I've used.

Anyone else love the smell of Reset? Smells like Ginger ale to me.

That one is on my list to try. Looks promising.

Megs Quik Interior detailer was always my favorite. Gyeon Interior Detailer I have on hand as well and that is very similar to the Megs. Both...

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Was able to get out to do a wash.

    Carpro Reset
Optimum Car Wax on top of existing Hyper Seal. I really like using OCW and how it looks.
Opti Seal on glass and wheels.

I did a 180 on Hyper Seal. I really like it. I did a quick hand polish with Hyper Polish then used OPT Paint Prep.

I have the same color as you. Polymetal Gray Metallic. I love it. I've had 3 3's in the past - 2007, 2014, 2015 and now a 2021. Always been a big Mazda fan. Since around 2012 they've been on a...

Re: Scratches that turned out to be glue

Loved the ZR2 but I couldn't justify it. I wasn't hauling anything and there just isn't many great off-road areas around. I was driving 95% of the time around town. With gas prices going up and...
