  1. Re: Restore original SCREAMING PHOENIX on 1979 Pontiac Trans Am - Original Paint

One more, this took me HOURS to restore without screwing up any of the TIPS on the Screaming Pheonix and this is the ORIGINAL vinyl graphic on a 1978 Trans Am.

I used a RUPES BigFoot 21 with the...
  2. Re: Restore original SCREAMING PHOENIX on 1979 Pontiac Trans Am - Original Paint

Buffing out the vinyl graphics is actually really easy - the thing you want to do is just use a very NON aggressive approach. This means, use a very soft foam finishing pad and an ultra fine cut...

  4. Re: Restore original SCREAMING PHOENIX on 1979 Pontiac Trans Am - Original Paint

That's a good plan. Restoring METALLIC single stage paint is in my opinion one of the MOST difficult types of paint to restore.

    Why?

  7. Re: Review: Speed Master Clay Towel and Clay Mitt

Thank you. Most of my "reviews" are more like how-to articles.

I don't think of myself as a great "reviewer" but I do think I'm pretty good at sharing "how-to" info. So I try to do both in a...

    Re: Correction discouragement

If by the above you mean a 6” backing plate and 6.5” foam pads - these are way too big and too thick for this tool.

I wonder how many times each week I share the above?
