    Re: I hate black

    Carpro Clarify - initial review

McKee’s Cockpit 20/20 solved my interior glass issues as well. I’m going to have to try it on the exterior. Maybe following up with Sprayway will satisfy me.

The Griot's glass towels are the perfect size and distribute cleaner nicely. They are the first glass towels I reach for now.

Re: Carpro Clarify - initial review

Florida is home to humidity and therefore streaks.
  8. Re: Ceramic coating for preventing micro/mini srcatches?

I've had zero marring issues with a PFM and I never use a drying aid. Do be sure to meticulously inspect your towels often.

Re: Carpro Clarify - initial review

I hope Clarify cuts through oil with ease because I got some on my glass fron my lift that ordinary glass cleaner can't seem to fully remove.

Re: Carpro Clarify - initial review

Sprayway cleans well for me but I am left with streaks too often. I think the Zap cloth may eliminate them for me in my humid environment.

    Re: Supa Beast Tackling Scratches

I can't justify another tool either. If I had a scratch I'd probably just use my rotary.

Re: Detailing the car in the big city

If you must use a self serve car wash, see if you can use them during off hours-- early in the morning or late at night-- so you won't be rushed and can wash thoroughly.

Re: How Do I Clean My AutoGeek Foam Gun?

Hmm. If the slider isn't moving, the brass might be seized. Happened to me. You might need to spray it with something like WD 40 and let it sit overnight then attempt to move it using pliers. This is...

Re: Dealer Car Service - Preventing Damage

I'm taking photos of all angles of my car before and after when I go to get new tires. I do trust the place that did them last time. Flawless in every regard, buy I'm not going to take any chances.

The mechanics should be pleasantly surprised by how clean our cars are;especially the engine compartment. You’d think they’d have respect when working on such a car

Yep, I simply screw the QD onto the hose. I can quickly disconnect the foam gun from the hose because I have a disconnect on the hose
