I thought the same with my GG3. It wasn't the bearing, but the housing part that holds it. See the pic.
I called Griot's as well, but in my case, I think they wanted my old tool plus some money...
Thank you!
Been eying it. Good price point and BF products have been good to me. Once I'm running low on my other gallon, I'll give it a shot.
I think someone sold off his Mini after getting PXE.
And yes. You can run 1" pads as well as the 3"
The "feel" of the MT300 is quite nice for me. I'm a short dude at 5'6" - and it feels light, and nimble.
HOWEVER, After having a taste for direct drive (Flex 3401) back before the Mille was...
AMAZING.
Too bad i'm way on the other side of the country.
Exactly.
My phone is full of more "before" pics than the "after" pics.
it's coming up for me to. Just did one, and will be doing a few more soon enough.
Thanks for the reminder! (Although, I'm kind of in the habit of doing that before every detail I plan on using...

I seen someone do something like that.
Or maybe some company can reproduce them? If the demand was high enough, im sure LC would make them. Doubtful of the demand, with so many liking long throw...
That's the one I was referring to :)
They were on clearance for a time, then "out of stock" -so no longer available

I've "sampled" both and would give the edge (after 3 months) to Black Edition.

Good choices listed by Guz.
I practically gave my M105 away! Don't miss it at all, though it did well for me when I was starting off in 2014 or so.
If it's the m12 machine I'm thinking of, they have an adapter to convert to DA.

Dgage, cool deal.
I do like the DeWalt plenty. I would compare to a Griot's BOSS g15. So similar IMO. If anything, I'd give the edge to the DeWalt in slightly less stalling and possibly feels a...
Different tools for different jobs.
PXE is a small, mini polisher.
Here is a PXE next to a small bottle of polish and a 3" pad

Maybe a matter of opinion, or preference?
Some guy referred to me as the Flex Whisperer, perhaps cuz my love for the 3401, as well as the other Flex tools and accessories I own. So, it should be...
Mike P. Has at least a few articles on that.
Google Mike Phillips flex xce, or some other combination. You'll find something that way.

Thank you!
I was thinking about ceramic coating, actually! At least a sealant.
