    Re: HD Speed Topping Question

The more recent arguments (from years ago) seemed to think that Collinite would last longer if not topped on Speed. Therefore using Collinite on a clean, freshly polished, bare surface would be the...

Re: Anyone tried P21S carnuba wax?

Are you looking into the traditional “P21S” or the “100% Carnauba” version that costs more?

If talking about the traditional version, it beads pretty well, probably do to the beeswax. It looks...

Re: Jescar Powerlock Plus - silicon?

I do recall the IGL products (EcoCoat Wax, possibly Premier also) using siloxane and silane as main ingredients, but haven’t been able to comprehend what that means compared to SiO2.... but the...
  6. Re: Is Anyone Else Tired of All the Ceramic Pile-Ons?

Agreed, but hopefully we learn enough from each other on this forum to at least call out the busts.
  7. Re: How to find out what/when new QDs are coming to market?

Note Autopia has a “What’s New” page as well. I like to check that and AGs.

Re: WG Fuzion Wax Mini Kit - Any Experience

Its not a ceramic hybrid wax, so youll get the same results as topping a coating with a normal sealant or wax... probably beautiful but loss of self-cleaning.

  10. Re: Coated under 15 minutes using PBL Surface Coating

Primary use of Paint and Surface Coatings are as LSPs. But any coating can probably be used on other coatings with some success, and while that may not make practical or economical sense with most...

Re: WG Fuzion Wax Mini Kit - Any Experience

Fuzion was just on sale the other day for $125 (includes refill) +25% off. This comes out to $93.75 for two, or $46.88 apiece.

I got them for the same price last year around this time, so keep...

Re: WG Fuzion Wax Mini Kit - Any Experience

Bathe is an OK wash, but not one of my favorites. It leaves some gloss behind but nothing that’s going to protect. If you want to add to the longevity of Fzion, while adding a glassy layer and...

  14. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Synergy Spray Sealant

My vote (which means nothing really) for your situation would be to keep the SiO2 toppers coming on the coating. However, applying Synergy Spray or Collinite would not hurt and would likely help...
  15. Re: Is Anyone Else Tired of All the Ceramic Pile-Ons?

True, but NXT isnt a good beader and only lasts two months at best (my experience anyways). These two factors would go against the ceramic performance features that are so popular nowadays.
  16. Re: Is Anyone Else Tired of All the Ceramic Pile-Ons?

PA liquid waxes include SiO2, usually quite a bit of it. I love them and normal carnauba pastes as well.
  17. Re: Mckees Tire Coating: Thoughts and compare with Gloss Tire Gel

Thanks for the tip. I have new winter tires that I will try this on in a month or two, just letting the initial new-tire “stuff” wear a bit. For my used tires I will just keep trying to clean...

^^Interesting. Thanks for trying this. Report back.
  19. Re: Reset on non-coating SiO2 stand-alone or toppers?

I plan on using the WG SiO2 Wash if/when it is warm enough. The stuff is such strong protection that I essentially consider it as a maintenance topper.

I was just figuring that this being my...

  23. Reset on non-coating SiO2 stand-alone or toppers?

    Foam sprayer vs regular sprayer

Can anyone fill me in with their experience of the foam sprayers (such as IK 1.5) versus the regular sprayer? Is there any real purpose to have both? What is the foam sprayer really meant for?

Thanks guys for caring enough about my problem to give your thoughts!
