    Nice work Scott! As always...

Spacers help a lot that vehicle too. Good call on his part. As noted, it's a lot of work and you do have an eye for detail.

Lake Country Purple or Blue and I too have used Rupes. I personally have standardized on Lake Country to keep things simple and they work and finish out great.

    Re: getting ready to coat

Good for you. Pure is easy to use. Key is prep it with Primer, then panel wipe and apply. Just be sure to have good lighting so that you avoid high spots. A nice overcast or cloudy day is...

Thanks. No, not on the go-round I had during this time. The previous time I did it yes. They've held up well.

  13. Re: How do you convince customers to do a late fall detail?

As Mike notes, it's about "protection" but here in Central Ohio we really don't get a deep bad winter much and if so it's only for a few days or weeks so overall their vehicle can look great still...

Re: Question on steam cleaner/ smoke removal?

Not sure I'd say "faster" as a benefit but mainly because they involve set up and break down and waiting for them to heat up, etc. I'm sure some of the pricier ones heat up faster or are "instant"...
  18. Re: Riot, sorry protest, damaged fj cruiser. Spray paint removal

Lacquer thinner should pull it off okay. Not knowing the history of the panels and work done, just do a small test spot first. If it's factory, you'll be fine.

    Re: Question on new paint

Gas off times are usually 30 days but I'd put it to 45 or so if it's cool/fall out where you are.

You can still however polish, correct and add protection, just use something silicon free. 3D...
