    Re: Clay / polish question

I thought the same at first, but my truck is a DD and winters here in NY can be nasty. Protection, and not Perfection is my goal here.

Clearcoats are thin. (I think a guy named Mike mentioned...

    Re: Clay / polish question

When/if I have to clay in the fall, I don't worry about the marring. The clear on my Ram is a little on the hard side, and the metallic gray pretty much hides any marring.

So I just clay what I...

    Lol. Thanks, Jake.

I'm sure I am not the first guy to do this, but it was just something that I noticed after my first few machine polishing sessions back in the day.

    I'll bet my first one...

MF towels grab everything they come in contact with. (Ever drop one on the ground??)

I do not trust them when washing a dirty vehicle the way I do a wash mitt that can trap dirt deep into the...

    Re: Washing with Microfibers?

I only use MF towels for rinseless washes.

Otherwise, it's about 6-8 mitts with a regular wash.

    Looks great, Dave!

845 is now a "yesterday's product" by most people's standards. But it will never be to me.

With proper care, you can expect that 845 to last 6 months. Easy.
