There are aerosols that you can shoot into your air ducts. You may have to do this several times. Good luck.

Live and learn, but I still can't see how your backing plate can touch your paint and create swirls if the pad has at least a 1/4 to 3/8" overhang.

:wowwow:The backing plate under any circumstances should not be larger than the pad.

Mother's chrome polish would be my choice.

Go for it! They will last you a lifetime.
  13. Re: Tips Cleaning chrome exhaust tips and aluminum trim

If your anal like most of us here..use a chrome polish. Never Dull roll pads are another good option. If they are really bad, 0000 steel wool and Mother's chrome polish will clean it up.

    Re: Had speed stained trim?

You should have taped it if you didn't want it getting on your trim. It looks like your trim needs some work anyway.

I would now tape the paint, clean the trim and use a dedicated trim restorer...

Re: 2020 C8 Corvette Detail by Mike Phillips

I was thinking more about the sides on the bottom of the seat itself. Since there are many shapes and sizes. A big guy might be sitting on top of the bolster instead of it supporting his hips.

Nice job Mike. Do any super cars have adjustable side bolsters?..the sides of the seat that keeps you snug in the seat.

    Re: Glass sealant help!

Let the Opti-Glass cure for a day or two and get some new blades.

I might have mis-led you by telling you to coat the blades. I was thinking about cleaning the blades with alcohol or a panel wipe...

    Re: Glass sealant help!

Not with Opti-Glass, but with other glass coatings. TBH, rarely have that problem with any glass coatings.

Maybe its time to try some other blades.

    Re: Glass sealant help!

Is the Opti-Glass still on the windshield? If so, try wiping the old blades with Opti-Glass.
