  1. Re: Neighbour says HyperWash is killing our grass on the median! I say no! Who's right?!

The problem is HE is the one that has been taking care of this tiny area for YEARS++ as it looks like its an extension of HIS lawn from the road! I'll cut it once in a blue moon if its getting...
  2. Re: Neighbour says HyperWash is killing our grass on the median! I say no! Who's right?!

Great... now he is saying he will only take care of half of this 7' wide area, lol... He has taken care of it for decades since its 'looks' like its mainly on his side. He put down fertilizer and...

    Re: Water Softeners for Detailing

You could use the whole home one for only washing depending how/where you hook it up and it will last a lot longer then using it in the rest of the house if you don't like soft water for other...
  4. Re: Neighbour says HyperWash is killing our grass on the median! I say no! Who's right?!

Well neither our lawns look anything like above (I wish), lol... Lawncare can be as consuming as detailing!
I washed the cars yesterday just after dinner. I did a good job of not getting soap going...

  6. Re: Neighbour says HyperWash is killing our grass on the median! I say no! Who's right?!

This is the only lawn he has, a 11' boulevard across the front of his property. The rest is a tiny sliver of lawn in the back, his pool and deck which take up most of the yard. He does keep it well,...
  7. Re: Neighbour says HyperWash is killing our grass on the median! I say no! Who's right?!

back-and-forth debate? Where? I've asked Meguiars about it and they don't think its from the soap either. A Meguiars specialist even posted similar in that link I posted at the end of my OP.

    I...
  8. Neighbour says HyperWash is killing our grass on the median! I say no! Who's right?!

My neighbor is saying the soap I use (Meguiars HyperWash) is killing the lawn on our shared boulevard (small 11'x7.5' patch of grass.)

    I use 1oz in a 5gallon bucket (fill about 4.5.) I use 1 oz...

Re: Maguiar’s Hyperwash in Foam Cannon

I use 1-2oz HW in my cheapie foam cannon that holds 1L. Seems to work well. 1oz for quick washes, Foamier with 2oz when its a bit dirtier...

    Re: Griot G9

I've only been using 6" pads on my G9 so far (other then 5" glass rayon BP and pad.) Not had issue yet so far other then my technique still needs some practice... Though I do wish in ways I had...
  12. Re: Rag Company Dry Me A River not drying anymore...

I tossed it back in March or April. No matter what I tried it just got worse and I got fed up, waste of $20. I should have kept it for windows or something, oh well now. I was definitely taking care...

Re: Center cooling hole in foam pads

Yes, this would be my assumption as well.

I did put holes in some of my compounding pads, but not tried them yet as the weather has been t-storms or so frikkin hot and humid I've not done...

Re: NEW RAM TREX ON LOT.

I was looking at one of those at a local dealer here. To much $ though, I rather get a TrackHawk or Hellcat powered Durango etc. (I dont really have the use of a pickup I guess, then an SUV>) TRXs...

Selection up here is hard as many places don't stock anything, prices are always high, and shipping rates are stupid high.

Re: 2017 Kia Forte, hard or soft paint?

Ah, I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I have a GG9, so either pad will do well from all I've read (the low profile PFW or regular MF)...?

Re: 2017 Kia Forte, hard or soft paint?

Wouldn't we want to do that the other way around? From all I've read microfibers grab more and heat more, so wouldn't the gear driven be better for it?

Its the short nap (low profile) purple...

Re: 2017 Kia Forte, hard or soft paint?

Yes, I've had great luck with the Megs Ultimate line on my 300, so figured it would be fine for my moms Kia well, but it seems to be proving to be harder to correct then my car...

    Any suggestions...
