    Re: Hello from Turkey

Hello Matah and welcome to the forum. You may have access to some European manufacturers like Sonax and Rupes. What color is your Toyota. We would like to see a picture.

    Re: Pad cleaning?

McKee's Polishing Pad Cleaner followed up with free flowing water gets all of the old polish or wax out of the pads. Heavily worked pads will need some agitation with a pad cleaning brush, then keep...

Re: Abrasives That Don't Stain Trim/Rubber?

I have been using some old HD Cut and HD Polish+ and they have not stained any trim. I am not sure about the new 3D stuff but I would imagine that would also not stain.

Re: Microfiber lint on windshield glass?

Zap Cloth absolutely. I use it for the interior but I like to follow it up with a Griots or a Carpro glass towel.

Re: Microfiber lint on windshield glass?

Waffle weave glass towels are very good but the Carpro glass towels leave absolutely no lint behind.

Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I took another page from Eldoís book. I found a vehicle in the parking lot with the filthiest tires and I cleaned only one wheel. Then I disappeared to a different part of the parking lot. This cargo...

    Re: Griotís 3-1 Topper/Maintenance

    Overpriced snake oil.
  8. Re: Looking for a spray and wipe that works well on ceramic coated dark colored cars

Carpro Ech20. They recommend 1:5-1:15 diluting ratio but on a darker colored vehicle, 1:20 works better.

What brand polisher do you use Monica? Does it have a trigger switch?

    Left Handed Detaling

After going through a paint correction session this weekend I realize that power tool manufacturers cater their tools for right handed people. I used my Griots G9 and I really like the machine but as...

Re: Wash and dry a car in less than 30 minutes!

Foam is fun and it eliminates one bucket from the process. I still use a rinse bucket but the foam gun does save some time. It will take me longer than 30 minutes (my age, bad knee, bad foot).

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Annual fall paint correction. It started with a Wolfgang Uber waterless wash and then Wolfgang Clay bar. McKees Iron Remover was next. Just one panel was done today with my Griots G9, HD Compound...

    Re: Disappointment

Paulie, the closest UPS hub to your neighborhood is in Farmingville, NY. I did a survey if that facility last year and there are great people working there. The driver could have had a bad day but...

Re: First time WETS application, questions.

Sound advice. The B pillars need a mild polish with a soft pad. WETS will restore the richness to the vinyl but it will not bring back the color. You will need Solution Finish on the faded areas.

    Re: Griotís 3-1 Topper/Maintenance

Yes Paulie this is a stand alone LSP. I applied it to the wheels on all three vehicles this weekend. One of my customers uses F11 Topcoat on his motorcycle and I am trying to talk him into the Griots...

    Re: Griotís 3-1 Topper/Maintenance

I have been using the Griots 3 in 1 Ceramic and I am a big fan. There is no need to use a topper but I use Wolfgang Uber or Carpro Ech20 as a detail spray and drying aide. Dust and water spots easily...
