  1. Re: So its getting into the colder weather now, I need to throw on some protection... suggestions?

I have a neighbor who uses a mechanical push rotary mower to mow his grass.

I have never felt the need to tell him that gas mowers are easier/quicker.

I am certain that he knows that. To...
  2. Re: So its getting into the colder weather now, I need to throw on some protection... suggestions?

    LOL Jay.

Funny post, but I really am not dismissing any coating products.

My point is to convey to some forum members that it IS ok to use a traditional wax/sealant.

    Some of us don't want...

Re: One of the best product i have ever seen

I went to Germany, and didn't meet one sour Kraut.

    Nice people. ;)
  4. Re: So its getting into the colder weather now, I need to throw on some protection... suggestions?

Actually, I am very open minded. I've never said one bad thing about coating products, and completely understand the use and enthusiasm of such.

I will use what I want, thank you.

    And if you...
  5. Re: So its getting into the colder weather now, I need to throw on some protection... suggestions?

Let's just make a new rule here on AGO that if you use anything BUT a coating, don't bother posting here.

All of the products used for decades now suck, and you're wasting your time having fun in...

Re: ultima tire and trim protectant?

    WETS is great.

And so is McKee's plastic trim restore.

I have both, have tested them side by side, and I would swear they are the same product in different bottles.

  9. Re: Pictures: New FLEX PXE by Mike Phillips

    Holy Moly.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but that huge hunk of text turned my "Cannot read this" switch on in my brain.
  10. Re: So its getting into the colder weather now, I need to throw on some protection... suggestions?

    No, but is IS 2019.

And thanks for dissing all of us who still use the product and are quite happy with it.

    Re: Microfiber towels streaking

How much money are you actually saving by buying box store MF's over quality ones?

For things that touch the paint, (be it washing, drying, polish/wax removal, etc.) why go the cheap route?

  12. Re: So its getting into the colder weather now, I need to throw on some protection... suggestions?

Do two small test spots. Let one sit for 2 minutes, then remove. Let the other one dry to a haze, and try to remove that one.

    You be the judge........ ;)
  13. Re: Happy Birthday Mike@DedicatedPerfection!!!

    Happy Birthday, Mike.
  14. Re: So its getting into the colder weather now, I need to throw on some protection... suggestions?

    Agreed with above suggestions.

Give it a good wash, and a couple of coats of 476.

Do NOT over-apply it, and DO NOT let it dry/haze over 2-3 minutes.

Thank me later for that advice. Lol ;)

    Another AGO member meet up

Had the pleasure to get together with UncleDavy again tonight. (Our second time meeting).

Dave is a guy you can talk to for hours about detailing, or anything for that matter. (Which we did).

The dogs are only as good as the owners, as you know all too well Monica.

    Uneducated/annoying humans = Untrained/annoying dogs.

The only difference being the dog can be trained at any point....
  21. Re: Upcoming Project - Dealer Ruined Brand New Kia

Agreed on every word of your post, Tony.

But sadly, not the way it happens here. :(
  22. Re: Upcoming Project - Dealer Ruined Brand New Kia

Dealers (at least around here) are all about speed, speed, speed when it comes down to it. They could care less about proper techniques.
