  1. Re: Review: Pinnacle Black Label Ceramic Trim Restorer

How strong of an APC would you recommend? I just did mine with the drill brush but I only used carpro multix at like 25/1. They recommend 20/1 for general cleaning. Would you go any stronger then...

Re: Review: Pinnacle Onyx Trim Restorer

I cleaned all my trim yesterday with a drill. I didn't get to the onyx dye. I didn't realize that this was not a protection product. I probably should of just got the pinnacle black label.
  3. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

It's definitely not just you. I thought the ppf was the protection?
  4. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

IDK I would think it would light up high and low spots making it difficult to see whats what? It could just kinda blend together.

    Re: Microfiber towels streaking

I've never used them but I definietly won't mock them. I thought the 80/20 blend was the deciding factor on microfiber towels as far as softness. But now after trying just about every towel made...
  6. Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

I had a silver car for 15 years before this one and I probably washed it 3 times. It's almost like I was a different person.
  7. Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

This is true. If you love working on your car you will probably love to work on it in any color. But I wouldn't know because the black car I have now is the only vehicle I've detailed. Late bloomer...
  8. Re: 2007 black Dodge Charger polishing suggestions

No I haven't. Just the one bottle. I thought I read in a thread that they won't be coming out with anything smaller but I don't remember which one.
  9. Re: 2007 black Dodge Charger polishing suggestions

    Re: Microfiber towels streaking

Could be from using a polishing pad for to long too.
  11. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

I have it to, may try it out this weekend. It was off my radar until this thread. Just a paperweight. I would like to use that or the wax I got from them.
  12. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

That new Flex light seems like a great deal on first inspection. Until you realize you need to spend another 100 on a charger then another 200 on 2 batteries. For that price I can buy another...
  13. Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

It takes me 5 hours just to do the prep wash and clay process to get ready for correction.
  14. Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

I think the metallic flake def helps hide defects compared to plain black which is what I have.

    Re: McKee's 37 SiO2 Series

Really, by yourself? I though that was Bob Mckee talking on the marketing page for the excellent new krystal diamond si02 wax. Thats even more impressive, I'm a big fan of the line up. Everything...

    Re: McKee's 37 SiO2 Series

I read on the website that the whole series was developed by Nick. Thats cool he did a good job with the N914. I'm sure Bob Mckee has been a great teacher. I know he developed the new wax which I...
  19. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

Meguiars fast finish had/has a 1 year durability too. Idk if they even still make it but its def nothing related to ceramic.
  20. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

I think the ceramic boom is still going. Curious to see where we go from here?
  21. Re: SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

I'm sure its already been mentioned but many new rupes polishes coming out. They did an excellent job with the forced rotation polishes they released recently so this is what I want most so far.

    Re: Non abrasive cleaner wax

I think if it were me I would wash it with something like p21s total auto wash before applying a wax to it. Something stronger then regular auto soap.

IGL Ecocoat i believe its called. Also I think the polish angel carnuba creme has cleaners in it but I'm not positive. Mike says a lot of the waxes sold in auto stores have cleaners in them but Idk...
  24. Re: Upcoming Project - Dealer Ruined Brand New Kia

They shouldn't have such easy access to anything more then a DA and a finishing pad IMO. It all falls back to the manager/owner they should know better. at this point.

You shouldn't need to use a...
  25. Re: Upcoming Project - Dealer Ruined Brand New Kia

Dang, I wouldn't have even taken it at that point and I definitely would complain to someone. Idk what I would do to be honest I would have been angry to say the least. Things might get ugly. I have...
