  1. Re: Please Help Me With A Long Term Protection Plan For My New Truck.

I have 2 White vehicles. I have tried different products being a detailing addict, but Finish-Kare 1000p seems to give it a glassy look that other products don't. And the durability is awesome. You...

    Re: Antique Car Detailing Clay

Zip-loc baggie. Maybe that will save you the $250. I threw the extra $50 in because you would have to take her out after running all over Bed Bath & Beyond. That's from college shopping there for my...

Re: Using Iron-X in a rinseless wash situation?

Just wondering. i have only used an Iron remover once. There's just something in my head about the word's "Iron Remover" that I haven't used it more. And I have 6 bottles sitting on the shelf in the...

Re: Getting Into the Little Areas

    Mike,

What about the big dollar cars you do? Or maybe one your doing for a Concour's. I figured not the everyday driver, but these I would think it would get done.

Re: Getting Into the Little Areas

If you have a Meijers near you, you might check around the car care aisle. I came across a bag of about 100 Q-tips (about 5 different sizes). I think it was about $7.

Re: Meguiars comes into the Ceramic age.

My daughter went to school in Cleveland. After the first couple of trips we started to rent something to take her and pick her up instead of screwing our vehicles up due to the roads having potholes...
  7. Re: Drying aid after applying Hydro Blue Sio2 coating.....

Meguiars is also showing a new line of SIO2 products for consumer and their Detailer line. With Nick coming out with this and Meguiars joining in, I'm sure they put the research into it before...

    Re: McKee's 37 SiO2 Series

Besides the difference in durability, I wonder what the difference is in this one and the current coating they have.

Re: Thinking of getting a black car, that crazy?

I have owned 3 solid black vehicles, now I own 2 White. Stays clean looking longer, but not as impressive as a dark color after washing them. After I got rid of each black one I said never again and...

Re: Meguiars comes into the Ceramic age.

Agree with you on the real world testing. But I think sometimes they give you a idea of how well it can hold up. Especially, if someone takes their car to a Swril-a-matic instead of hand washing it...

Re: Griots One Step Sealant Mini-Review

I bought this and a few of their other products a few years back. I haven't been impressed with any of them, especially for the price. I might of also got about 2 months out of it is that. There are...

    Re: Blackfire One-step vs. Mckee's37 360 AIO

Will have to give this a try. While I was searching for Citra-blast, I even found how to make your own using vinegar and citrus peels. Wonder how that would clean with the vinegar mixed in?
  14. Re: Drying aid after applying Hydro Blue Sio2 coating.....

Talked to Nick a while back but haven't had a chance to post due to taking care of my parents.

To sum up what he said, "as long as it does not leave any protection behind, it would be okay to...

Re: Yay? OR Nay? 1950 Ford Custom

Would much rather see a car like this in one solid color. Let the car and it's chrome do the shouting out at you.

Meguiars comes into the Ceramic age.

Just saw this on their site. Anybody seen or heard anything about it?

Wonder if Professor Phillips will get to play with any of the products at SEMA and fill us in on it when he comes back? And...

    Re: Blackfire One-step vs. Mckee's37 360 AIO

    Thanks.
I have some of each of the McKee's 37 cleaners and the APC from them. When I finally get a chance to do my Dad's T-bird, I will give them a try.

    Re: Blackfire One-step vs. Mckee's37 360 AIO

    Thanks

Wonder if it could be the sealant in both of them. I think both polishes are water base. I know I have found out that using a couple of the sealant only products make the pads hard to clean.
  20. Re: Klasse AIO and High Gloss Sealant, excellent beading but no sheeting as such

First off, I like the thought more of Kelly LeBrock.

I have never used the twins, so I can't comment on their characteristics. But one the main reasons I like FK 1000P is the sheeting. I have had...

    Thanks

    Re: Blackfire One-step vs. Mckee's37 360 AIO

Sorry for a late reply, been busy with my parents. But I have a question about the pads staining.

Since 360 is staining the pads, do you think that some of the product is staying in them? Or, that...
