Re: What do you use for a Detail Prep Wash?

Agree with Bob. I have been using Megs glass cleaner for years! I even use it as a panel wipe for my test spots!

    Re: Customerís Truck Arrives Muddy

I charge more for a wash and spend more time/do a better job than other “detailers” premium package. That being said, I’m booked solid. ....... charge accordingly and don’t t sell yourself short
  4. Re: Remove Orange Peel - Wetsanding by hand and machine - Time Lapse Video

It’s very cool you document these type of projects for sure! No other forum has the kind of information that you post but not too many companies are willing to pay someone to do so either!! You...

    Re: Smack Towel Method (STM)

    Good idea!! Thanks for sharing.

I would be concerned that some of the sticky residue may adhere to the towel. Have you noticed this at all?

Re: Meguiars D300 on thier cut scale?

Remember D300 and the Megs MF system was designed for production “detailing” and I use the word detailing there very loosely! Same with the Optimum system. If you practice the art of true paint...

Re: Meguiars D300 on thier cut scale?

I wouldn’t suggest, recommend or even think of that.

I don’t care what any manufacturer says...compounding/polishing removes the top layers of what you are buffing. The abraded away paint becomes...

Re: Need help with Wolfgang DGPS 3.0

I have no issue letting it sit a long time. As long as it’s kept dust and contaminant free, you are fine. It’s super easy to wipe off no matter how long it sits on the paint.

Re: Looking for a cleaner polish

Poorboys pro polish is awesome as a paint cleaner. I also love as it doubles as a great metal polish. It’s reasonably priced as well!! Good stuff in my book!
  12. Re: KILLER CAR WASH - Wolfgang Uber SiO2 Coating Wash

I like the looks of this. Let’s face it..... there are many “wash and wax” products out there but honestly none of them can actually take a vehicle from water laying on the surface to beading. Carpro...

Perhaps I’d look at a dedicated glass cleaner tho.
  14. Re: Onr not taking dirt off or is it road film that it just canít get off?

    Look at it this way.

When you are using ONR, you are only applying product. Thus when you wipe dry, you are removing product and dirt/grime.

    Re: SF3500 and SF3800--What Happened?

Menzerna is only good at making buffing liquid!!!

    Consistent labeling practices
    Descriptions
    Simplifying names of products
    CHARTS

    Their charts have been so...
